Barbara walked through the door,  waving to the others to follow
"Try not to touch anything,  we need to gather clues"

Xan was stepping over the threshhold but at Barbara's words her arms pinwheel and she almost falls flat on her face.

  Dean sees  an fall, but she’s down before he can even try to catch her.  Was the Stair dubbing another Warden, or had she merely tripped?

  “You okay,  Xan?”

"I'm ok." She says in a muffled voice against the ground.

She gets up and backs away, "Sorry Batgirl."

Barbara,  distracted by the crime scene,  looked at Xan and smiled an apology
"I'm sorry about that, i get a little over excited about crime scenes.   Please come in,  but be careful not to contaminate anything "

She started taking pictures and samples

Jill Files in and tries avoiding things.
Xan stands by her.
Millenia stands by Barbara.

Barbara finds more shoe prints full ones obviously deeper and more smeared at the sight of the struggle. She finds her and Xan's prints too. Searching more closely she finds places where energy blasts took place from the looks of things she thinks they came from Jessica. (She remembers the Weird pistol Xan gave her) There is some strange liquid she finds in little pools here and there. There is a place where it looks like a body hit the ground.

  Dean stands in the doorway so as not to trample any evidence, or get in the way.  He didn’t know much about CSI stuff except for the crap he saw on tv.

Barbara took samples of the liquid and set her computer to analyze it
"I apologize for taking up so much time with this, especially when you're not entirely positive that traditional de Detective work will even help us.   Still, it's a place to start "

  “No worries!  Unless those little statues were meant as a signature to the crime, I’d suspect the one responsible is from outside of your world though, because isn’t there like some weird villains code that they always leave some kind of obvious clue that they did something, like a Jack-in-the-box, or a cake, or a poem or something?  Then they wait around until the good guys show up so they can monologue their entire plan before setting their goons to attack?”

Barbara chuckled and shrugged
"There are a couple that get that melodramatic,  but most are more subtle and better at time management.   Though,  admittedly,  since i know almost nothing about Jessica,  my alleged cousin,  i know nothing about any nemeses she might have,  and certainly nothing about their habits.   And if they knew about me.  But you're probably right,  Dean, about this being,  for lack of a better phrase,  an 'outside job'."

Xan walks off to another room.

Barbara widens her search of the area,  seeing what else she can learn

Doing that Barbara is able to tell someone stealthily searched the rest of the house.

It is only a very complete search reveals this.

She tells the rest of the group
"The house has been searched thoroughly,  perhaps for the key i have.  Hopefully whatever they were looking for they didn't find"

Xantastic comes out with a packed bag of clothes and things and puts it in her pocket.

Barbara looked at Xan
"My apologies , but i forgot to ask if you lived here.  Can you tell if anything is missing?"

Xan nods and walks around looking.

"I live here, yes. I don't take up much room."

She looks all over and returns, "Yes the research room, some things are missing." Her pig tails rise up.

Barbara waited for Xan to elaborate

Xan had opened up a hidden door in the living room to a science lab that looked like part of the Batcave. She kept walking and went down into a museum like area and it had trophies it seemed.

She points at some empty cases they are laying on the ground.

"Jessica liked to collect things from the enemies she defeated. Weird huh, a cloaking trenchcoat is gone, a mote gun that thing sucks !, and these cases had some more conventional weapons."

"So they were stolen by whomever might have taken her?"

Xan nods, "I would think so. They were here before all this happened. but the Key is more valuable."

"Do you think whoever took them knew about them, or were they just that good at finding the hiding space "

Xantastic scratches her head.

"I am not sure. Maybe I mean we don't show this place to everyone. Your family."

Barbara frowned.
"Who else in my family?"

"James Gordon."
