The batarang spins through the air all blades and harm. Yet the throw shows Barbara's amazing skill as it strikes the kittens brow with the blunt part of the batarang. Her strength behind it sends the kitten sideways in it's leap. Off to the land of sleep and unconsciousness from the amazing throw.

The other in Dean's grip says, "Supposed to kill the little one there, and find the key. Key is important. The one who hired us disguised their nature. Though smell like you, smell human. We value lives would like to make deal."

  “Keep talkin’ Sunshine.  Let’s hear your proposal, and make it the best one you can come up with.  The one you came here to kill makes the decision on if it’s worth your life.”

It twists a bit in Dean's hand looking at Xantastic.

"We have not been paid. So no contract yet. Can shift, know scent, can do more then kill just always hired to kill. Maybe work for you, we were not informed so many would be here."

Barbara stared hard at the creature in Dean's grasp.  She was used to, at least a little  bit,  dealing with people who weren't human,  but this was more creepy than anything she'd dealt with so far.
"Did you kill or kidnap the Big person who was her originally?"

"Don't understand ? Big person who was her ? Never been here before."

"Have killed many so not sure but not killed big version of her that I know of."

Millenia "I am interrogating this one, if you mean the Warden who was here they don't know of her or this world really."

Barbara nodded to Millenia, a bit disappointed by the lack of answers, but also happy that there wasn't any horrible news.

  "So, do we take the bloodhound's offer and track the way back to whomever sent it to kill us, or not?"  Dean asks.

  Then he looks at the creature. "What did they offer you to kill us and bring them the key?"

"A safe world to breed and call our own."

"Or enough black circles for the Agora to buy whatever we wish, but we have no real need to trade for things in the Agora."

  "Were there more of you, or just five?"

"There are many of us but only five came here." it replies.

  Without taking his eyes off the creature in his grasp he says, "Well, Barbara, Xan...it's your call.  We might be able to track our way back to whomever sent them, and maybe having this one guide us would make it easier.  If it decides to try to lead us into a trap, however, I won't hesitate to kill every last one of them.  If it does the right thing, however, maybe we can help it's people find their own world."

  The smile he gives the creature is not the happy kind, more the determined type.

  "So if we make a deal, it's on you whether your entire species lives or dies, comprende?"

It stutters out a yes as it tries to nod.

Barbara nodded grimly and looked to Xantastic.
"I'm always in favor of information.  Using these guys to find the person in charge works for me.  What do you say?"

Xantastic pouts, "They were going to kill me. We will need to keep a close eye on them."

Barbara nodded
"I totally agree with you on that"
she looked at Millennia
"What are the odds of finding them their own world?"

"I will agree with you then Batgirl. You have my support in your decision." She puts on a brave face but still has glistening eyes over having to smoosh a kitten.

Millenia shrugs, "Everything is out there including empty worlds. So it is always possible for something to be found, remember some places have many, many worlds not just one beyond a Door."

Barbara nodded,  hoping to both get answers and avoid bloodshed
"Okay,  if you help us, we'll help you find a new world "

It coughs out something presumably in its own language and they all take on childlike human forms.

  "Ok, you have a deal from the lady.  Double-cross her, or run away and you and all your people get exterminated.  Keep your end of the bargain faithfully and we'll keep her word."

  With that, Dean places it's feet on the ground and releases his grip.

  "Now...anything you can tell us about the one who sent you.  Where they met you, how they contacted you, what they smelled like...anything."

"They came to us cloaked and wearing mask, sometimes when someone has such precautions they send agents. Red cloak, red mask tall horns, will show mask."

It changes it's face into what looks like to Dean and those of Earth origin an African type gazelle mask though painted red. Or perhaps a devil type mask.

"Black boots."

"Smell of bone, strong smell of bone, not human bone. smell of sweat, leather bovine, no artificial odors perfumes, colognes, smelled female, sand smell."

Dean looks to Millenia.
“Any of that spark anything for you?”

"Yes but mostly be putting it together with the figurine of the Raksasha, there is a world known as the Ossuary Empire. Bones of gods can be found there and they are very potent to use and access most power on that world you need a piece of bone of the gods of that place." She takes out a little bob on a chain made of bone.

"I do some trading between that world and another so I got this. Hey smell this did the bone smell like this."

All three smell it.

"Similar not exact."
"Yes, yes close."
"Hungry can we eat ?"

Barbara will see if there's any food in the house
