When I played this game previously (and GMed it previously) the groups I was with got just as much out of the teenage-slice of life stuff as they did from the cyber revolution stuff.  I've tried to give NPCs with which to interact, and I hope I've encouraged interaction among yourselves, as we ease into the underground cyber revolution stuff.  Nikola seems to me to be the type that would immediately jump into that fight, like "let me at em" where as the rest of you more slowly.  That's cool.  Vamp and Shin-ji lost friends for sure at the Obelisk, that gives them some motivation to dig into what happened.  And the weirdness around the evolved powers, the carbon plague, is another hook.

As evidenced by the Expectations, I believe very strongly in character agency, I will not force you guys down a specific path, assume specific actions, or take control of your characters.  But I am happy to provide more of some things, less of others, whatever you need.

Sorry, also have been kinda not sure in which direction i could move Nikola.. but i do like the direction of getting into a revolutionary movement.. i guess that I was not socially savy to read that between all the teenage and school interaction.. and Nikola has reflected that lack of skills...

If you like that direction, she could just get rid of all the subtleties and get more direct. After all, i realized that if i keep my characters too careful of fear of getting some PC killed, we loose momentum and the game dies by itself.

There doesn't seem to be much direction, and I take responsibility.  This stage of the game is very sandboxy where you guys choose the direction you want to go.  I believe very strongly in character agency, so I present opportunities to interact, etc.  I was waiting to see what others were doing before responding to Tailgate and sort of lost track of time.  The martial arts lesson also seems to have lost momentum.

What do you guys want to do then?  Re-energize and move ahead?  Or call it?

I didn't want to turn things into the Vamp and Shin-Ji game so I was waiting for others to post. I guess I waited to long as he seems to have vanished.

I'd like to continue if the others decide to come back. I'm loving the game and don't want to see it fade away.

Yeah it seems we lost momentum. So maybe a a jump or a regroup or something.

Hi to all, well.. in my opinion it will help if we agree on a pace, so no one is left waiting, also if we try to move the story forward, avoiding long posts full of subtle stuff, that way we wont feel discouraged to read the group postings,  i will make my girl act like that an lets see how the GM responds to it, after all, we don't have that much to lose at this point

Sorry guys, I should have said something before, but I kept hoping against hope that I would eventually be less busy, but the month is only getting worse. I am reasomably sure I will have more free time starting mid-July, but until then I'm probably going to be off. Thought I'd say this, because I've been absent way too long already and I don't want to ghost :(

Y'all, I keep hoping against hope I'm going to have more free time and energy, and time after time it keep failing to happen. I'm going to have to bail out here. It was a lot of fun and I might find the time and energy to post here and there every month or so, but it's unfair to keep y'all waiting for me.

Just wanted you to know I'm still here. I just didn't see a good time to jump in.

Currently you guys have two invitations to the Celtic Knot:  one today (Friday) from Darina to Nikola, the other for tomorrow (Saturday) to Tailgate from Mr. Mushingi.

Tailgate, Nikola and Vamp all went tonight at Darina's invitation.  Shin-ji can join them or the others could let him know about tomorrow and he can join then.  If the latter, what is planning for the rest of Friday night?
