It is hard to tell if she is "trustworthy", but she is clearly sharing with you guys info about herself that could cause trouble for her if shared with CorpSec.  Near as you can tell she isn't hiding anything.

Darina said she could ask Ms. Kavanagh to call Mushingi tonight.  That is what she suggested.  If that it not what you guys want, then stop her IC and decide on another plan.  I didn't see any objection to that in the game thread.

Thanks.. i dont remember exactly how advanced is the tech similar to smart phones and wireless networks in this post cyberpunk 2020 setting.. i mean ..can nikola make some online investigations regarding missing gang members while eating at the mall?

It depends on her hardware capability.  CyberGen is CP2020 technology enhanced by Virtuality.  It went further down a path of augmented reality that we didn't (haven't) in the real world.  Because cyberdecks and netrunning is a thing where you can dive into the NET without a screen, phones didn't develop to surf the Net.  Now with Virtuality they are even smaller, just projecting into Virtuality anything you might need to see.  The way Virtuality works is that there are near-field projectors all over the place that devices tap into, primarily your V-trodes.  That is why you can see ads, virtual decorations, street signs, virtual buttons, etc.  Because everyone is moving towards virtual controls you very soon won't be able to operate in the city without v-trodes on a receiving.

So, anyone near her will be able to see whatever she is looking at in Virtuality.  The benefit of being a Wizard is that Wizards are netrunners with built-in hardware and can control virtuality around them.

Vamp doesn't know these two guys, they are New Harbor crowd, different school/beat/neighborhood.  Darina seems to get around in more ways than one.  I will post an update soon, giving Vamp and Nikola time to react.

I will, just one more question.. do we have some sort of face recognition tech that someone can use.?
i mean i'm trying to see if i can spur some hostilities.. and if some of us get into a fight with them it could be useful if that attracts the attention of the other juves in the area, i mean to get a crowd chearing the fight, while some of our group tries to spot faces and compare them

hopefully if we win, will give us a good reputation that will make the others more prone to talk with us.. i know, its kind of a longshot but hey, we dont have much to lose.. Nikola might also get arrested and detained, which could put us at reach of police reports.. or much worse.

So i was waiting to see if we some technology could be used to take advantage of the attention that a fight could attrack. So unless any objection i say we jump at those megaviolents, the PCs might end up badly hurt but its better than to die of inactivity

So the guys are starting something which I hope is not a surprise to anyone.  They have a 1 initiative, but since you guys were waiting for them to start something, this first round I will consider you as "holding" your action.  That means you can go twice, once for your round 1 held action and once for you round 2 action, assuming you beat a 1 on the initiative roll.  PCs win ties though...

Shin-Ji, which guy are you grabbing?  The Blue-haored guy holding Darina's forearm rolled a 29 total for his Streetfighting defense (happened to roll a 16 on the die).  The guy withthe green hair is standing off to the side eager for a fight, his defense for this round is 19.  You need to meet or exceed their defense to hit them.

p. 131 of the 2nd Edition book lists the damage class (DC) for your attacks:  Crush is DC 5, Punch is DC 4 and Kick is DC 5.  The damage table on p. 152 then has a note at the bottom:
Plus Damage Bonus to Die Roll (BODY 2 = -2; BODY 3-4 = -1; BODY 5-7 = O; BODY 8-9 = +1; BODY 10-12 = +2; BODY 11-12 = +4; BODY 13-14 = +5; BODY 15+ = +8) Add Hand-to-Hand Combat or Kata Skill Level to Die Roll for damage done in hand to hand combat.

So for damage you roll 1d10, not open-ended.  Add Kata skill ranks (8).  Add +1 for a BODY of 8.  So you are rolling 1d10+9(!) for damage.  On the DC4 line the range of actual HP of damage done is 2-9, but realistically you are not going to roll below 10, so minimum damage is 7.  Everyone has Wounds (HP) equal to their Body score.

Ah ok. I got confused there.
In that case he dodged me and I'll grab him again next round. Hopefully he makes another defense roll.

It's not like I'd know what the defence would be, and Shin-Ji would have grabbed the person grabbing someone else.

Also, typically, should there be a penalty when being grappled with someone else?
