The stately home of Angeline Walsh

Yes. Feel free it decorate it as you like.

Angeline went upstairs, and selected a novel to read, Pamela, her favorite. Then she curled up on the bed, and began to read.

In reply to Angeline Walsh (msg # 4):

OOC: Since we are playing out Jem's visit to Darenvern, would you like to play out his visit to you as well?

In reply to Sir John Marke (msg # 5):

Yes.

OOC: Very good, As soon as Jem has refreshed himself at Darenvern, he will be along to your manor.

In reply to Sir John Marke (msg # 7):

Perfect.

Having been refreshed at Darenvern, Jem rides briskly to up Walsh Manor, dismounts, dropping his well-trained horse's reins, walk up to the front door, and knocks firmly with the knocker.

In reply to Sir John Marke (msg # 9):

Angeline heard the knock, and set her book aside, and went down the stairs. She went over to the door, and told the butler to open it.

When the butler opens the door, Jem sees Angeline behind him, tugs his thinning forelock and makes a rather awkward bow, holding out the sealed letter to her and saying, "Sir John Marke's compliments, m'am, and he has sent me with this invitation to dine with him and Captain William Hood at Markham Hall."

In reply to Sir John Marke (msg # 11):

Angeline smiled, and said, "I should be delighted." She took the letter from him.

Jem replies "I'm sure Sir John will be very glad to hear it, ma'm. Would you care to write him a note in answer, or would you rather I just told him your words?"

In reply to Sir John Marke (msg # 13):

"You may tell him what I've said." Angeline answered.

Jem tugs his forelock again and says "Yes, m'am, you may be sure I will tell him your very words. You will be most welcome as Sir John's guest." He mounts his horse and rides off at a slow but steady pace.

The next day, Angeline breakfasted with her sisters, and they spoke of their plans for the day.

"I have friends to visit." Eliza said. "While Tabby darling will be visiting the bookshop. And you, Angeline?"

Angeline smiled. "Lord Marks has invited me and a few others in a ride about the countryside."

"How splendid!" Tabitha intercepted.

After they had finished breakfast, Angeline went and readied herself for the drive, choosing a lavender dress with three quarter sleeves and a mint-green spencer.
