Secrets of Magic is do out in July, and Gears and Guns is do out in September. So minor changes may happen to both classes around that time, but that is expected.

So it looks like I'm the healer. lol Blessed by god to keep your butts alive.

Archetypes for the playtest classes haven't been put out. You have the full classes or nothing, sadly.

If you are thinking Gunslinger that is a definite heavy hitter. I think I will go for Sorcerer then.

Listen up everyone!

I'm seeking a volunteer with a penchant for writing.

More specifically a chronicler.  Some one who wants to write about the group's adventures.
The chronicler will describe the progress and antics of this Edgewatch patrol unit.

The point of this other than entertainment is to give players an evolving record, so there will be no confusion about what has happened and what they are supposed to be doing and why.

I've found that in many pbp games people become confused about these things since pbp can move slowly.

The chronicles should also record and keep track of what information the patrol has uncovered, and perhaps pose questions about missing information.

If this is too big a job for one person, we could also rotate this task around the group, so that everyone who wants gets a turn writing these chronicles.

I think this will really help people stay on track, and understand what they do and don't know as a group.

Almost done with my gunslinger, just got too late and I'm typing gibberish. Will finish up tomorrow night.

I'm not great at reading gibberish....sounds like a plan..so go ahead....make my day.

Just read your post in the character creation thread. Now I'm thinking of making an investigator.

Definitely a dwarf cleric thinking a cloistered cleric of Angradd but I also have a righteous war cleric of Ra or a uppidy toff cleric of pulura, depends on what skills the group needs to make a well rounded group of guardsmen. I always try to take the skills that are missing from the group and lately I have been very healing focused.

Ok after reading other threads it may not be a good idea for a semi psychotic dwarven cleric of the fire god.... Pulura specialises in survival and the domain of star gives a fantastic tracking bonus that would help in locating culprits that may initially escape. What do you all think?

Also it is more of a stand back cleric.

To use a nightstick does one need a special feat as it is a uncommon weapon?

Its uncommon because only the edgewatch and similar policing organizations have access to it.
Adventurers in general dont have access to it. So as a new recruit to Edgewatch you dont need anything special to get one or use it as long as you are proficient with it.

Wow everyone in the group is a doctor... and a diplomat.. we got no intimidation at all mayhap I should drop diplomacy and take intimidate. Work on a rep as a butcher turned doctor always wanting to operate..

Hi all, Bennett Riverbranch of the Learned Guard joining your ranks.

I am an elemental sorcerer (water). I am just reviewing a few items on my sheet and should be good to go soon.

Yupyup! I also have a lot of healing ability. And will likely be getting more. ;)

Maybe I won't choose heal/stabilize as my initial spells then :)

I hardly ever take Stabilize because you can use skills and healing to do the same thing. :)

That being said, there can never be enough healing. :)

The other reason I say that there can never be enough healing is because until I hit 2nd level I only have 2 1st level spell slots and whatever healing I do out of combat with Medicine Skill. 2nd level I'll be picking up Battle Medicine feat and Blessed Archetype which will give me A LOT more healing options. So like I said, up to you. :)

Ok. I think I might add a few nicknacks to my gear and then I am good to go.

If I was in the mounted cockpit as I would normally be, could I take cover normally?

The core rule book says under Mounted Defenses (Page 478) (Playing The Game Chapter)


Your construct is commanded verbally as I understand it since its semi-sentient.  An actual structure surrounding your body isn't strictly needed. such a structure would be an add-on to your construct.

It is assumed that you sit on top of your spider when you mount it which makes it hard to fit through a door.

Its been a while since I dealt with this, but I think you have to go into the settings of your browser and clear your cache.

Once you do that, click on the game map link and select the Group 2 map.
I think thats how ive solved it in the past.

Each browser has a different procedure for that.  Im using google, so I know how to do it in google, but if you are using something else, then a little internet research will reveal how to do that.

How does the aid other action work in pathfinder 2e?

Aid is a reaction to another player's skill check or attack roll, so it would occur first.

You must explain exactly how you are trying to help.

if we were in rounds, you would spend an action preparing to help ahead of time on your turn. Then just before a player acts, you would roll your Aid check.

The way that you go about helping out determines what check you must make.

Typical DC = 20

Critical Success: Gives +2 circumstance bonus to another player's check
Success: Gives +1 circumstance bonus to another player's check
Critical Failure: Ally takes a -1 circumstance penalty to their check

Edgewatch.

Do to the weather here in Indiana my internet's been spotty at best. I'm good and back to full now, if not also under a good 2' of snow or so.

We got a lot of snow too here in the Midwest, but was fortunate to avoid the blackouts and internet disruptions.

Bennett has been keeping up with things while you were gone.

I'm in Northeastern Indiana, the very eastern edge of the Midwest. So we get that lake effect snow. Thankfully we've avoided the blackouts, and normally we don't have internet disruptions either, but this time the internet happened.

It didn't turn up anything, but if you wish to search again you need to be specific about what you are doing and how you are doing it in order to get a second roll for searching for clues and such.

Missing Persons cases usually involve interviewing multiple witnesses and establishing new leads and following those leads.

You cannot wrap up this crime right here and right now. At the end of your patrol you will be passing on the details of this encounter to your superiors. They will decide what to do about it.

For now you need to finish your patrol and complete your assignment.
You got the boy out of the workshop with no bloodshed.  You've done your duty and learned about a missing persons case. Its time to move on.

Firavela had to bow out due to work constraints.  I'm recruiting someone to take over that character.

1 GP to a Eidolon? LOL! I'm not against it, but normally they don't get gold. That's being said though, they also do not get magic item's. I have to put them on me, then invest them, for the eidolon to get the effects. That's also how the eidolon get's the Weapon Potency and Striking rune's. So if you want to put the one gold towards that I'm all for it.

I agree, bummer. We need a good fighter uther then Uriel. :)

Correct, we are moving to Myth-weavers.

I had to move because recruitment efforts were at a standstill.  Our game was at a standstill.

Within one hour of being on Myth-Weavers we had a new player.  Here we sat around for days with no applicants.

It will take a little getting used to. The interface seems pretty similar to this one on my my end.
