To use a nightstick does one need a special feat as it is a uncommon weapon?

Its uncommon because only the edgewatch and similar policing organizations have access to it.
Adventurers in general dont have access to it. So as a new recruit to Edgewatch you dont need anything special to get one or use it as long as you are proficient with it.

Wow everyone in the group is a doctor... and a diplomat.. we got no intimidation at all mayhap I should drop diplomacy and take intimidate. Work on a rep as a butcher turned doctor always wanting to operate..

The Sergeant bows respectfully.
