Taking a quick look, he turns back to the Staff doing their best to control and keep patrons safe.

"Looks like a bomb went off down the street somewhere...should be safe enough for everyone to leave..head home, and watch the news maybe?"

For a were so close to the rising Moon though, it's just too interesting to leave and find someplace that isn't a sight of an explosion. Hair prickling, and sense on high alert George heads off to the sight of all the 'fun'.

Pushing open the restaurant door for them, George growls a question at Dalion.

"You seemed pretty nuts earlier, but now, more together. What gives.?"

[Leaves: Arlington antiques] [Enters: Pirate's Galley Steakhouse]

"Nuts are pretty tasty and have a lot of calories, but I think you should order something more substantial, adrenaline is one hell of a drug isn't it?". Says Dalion as he takes a seat on a table that is quite close to the exit, he then takes out another bottle of water to open it and put in it one of the flowers that he picked in the garden, leaving it as a strange decoration for the table, the visual clash of the plastic bottle used as a pot and the exotic flower was notorious. Dalion kept the other flower in his hand but close to his nose.

"You should order," he said clamly.

(OOC: Hopefully posting for a "controlled" NPC when Pearl isn't actually in this location is OK :))

As it turns out, the locked steakhouse door fails to yield to George's hand. Though it's mostly empty inside, Potts can be seen through the windows giving things one last check-over. He glances up when he hears the tap at the door, then walks over to it. "My apologies, but we're closed due to the explosion just now," he says through the glass door, before recognizing George from earlier. "Oh, hello again sir. Anyways, if the authorities permit, we'll be open again at our usual time tomorrow."

"Fuck me dead!"

Getting really hungry now, the frustration of the steak so waited for, disappearing again, beings to piss him off.

"Wrong time of month for this shit." He growls quietly, thinking of small garden animals.

"MMMMMmmmmmm, could you please give us a take out? please, I ask this to you as a favor, this man just saved my life and I brought him here to the best Stake house of the city for an epic meal, besides, if you look closely to his features, especially the size of his canines, you will probably notice that he prefers his meat rare, it will just be a matter of packing whatever you had prepared in the kitchen before the explosion and it will also help you reduce the loses from closing early tonight." pleaded Dalion with the blue flower covering his mouth.

"Yeah..there were some things cooking before everything shut. Happy with a doggy bag."

Potts gave George an alarmed look through the door, perhaps thinking that Dalion was actually threatening him. "Ah... I don't think I can help you, but if you wait there I'll call the owner." He stepped back toward the counter to do so.

Once he got a hold of Pearl and filled her in, she said "Well, if the two are hungry we can just finish some food for them real, right?"

"Wha-- Ma'am, the gas is turned off, that's standard procedure after an earthquake or other threat to the gas line," Potts said.

"Is it really?" Pearl said curiously, leading Potts to close his eyes in exasperation. "You can't give them any of the half-cooked food?"

"That would be a health code violation! Ma'am, do you read any of the paperwork I give you?"

"I pay you to worry about that," Pearl replied cheekily. "All right, then just give them a big take-out order, and give me the phone number on it. I'll call them myself and tell them we're closed and they'll get a refund so you can leave. Don't charge these new guys either."

"Yes, ma'am," Potts said, slightly wearily. Not for the first time, he wondered how much longer a place like this could stay in business. He hung up the phone, then called to the door "One moment please, gentlemen." He walked back to the kitchen, then came out carrying a large bag filled with several individually packaged steaks and sides, as well as a drink tray. He deftly unlocked the door so he could hand it to George as the closer of the two. "Here you are, order for three, no charge in light of the, ah, emergency. We hope to see you again soon."

The sudden shift in attitude, and a ready made bag of 'steakouts' for free?
Could question it but steak. here. now.

"Thanks." Taking the bag, he shrugs at Dalion.
"Lets go eat."
As he walks to a nearby bus stop bench, he asks over his shoulder.
"So..whats your name anyway?"

"The name is Dalion" he said with his nose close to the blue flower, he was pretty relaxed while smelling the flower, the smell reminded him of other times. He sat down and inhaled the smell of the flower one last time before putting the flower in the front pocket of his sweater. Then he looked up to the sky with and with a great calm he started to say:
"The stars as stirred tonight, and by that I mean that a lot of strange shit is going on, it's quite interesting... for the most of one's life a routine repeats, be it school, hobbies, work, marriage, and then suddenly, one night a giant metallic crab walks around your house and stuff start to explode, isn't life strange?"

Mouth full, George mumbles around the food until he can swallow and say it again properly.
"Im sitting here eating with a possibly violent madman talking about robot crabs. A junk shop exploded, probably magic involved. yeah, its strange."

Eating more he ponders a bit about about Dalion, then decides to cut to the chase.
"So..What gives? Are you a nut job? Like, you seem perfectly capable one moment, then like some sort of blind prophet."

Dalion was sitting next to George, but looking to the sky, at the mention of the word nut he looked at George but didn't turn his head, he looked askance at George, from George's point of view he could only see one of his eyes pointing at him, Dalion was shooting daggers through it.

                   "If you broke a mirror and trowed the shards in a pond,
                       stirred the water and to yourself look upon,
                             would you recognize what you see?
                        could you distinguish between you and me?"

George rolls his eyes while chewing, then spits out the words through the food.

"Oh. Way to prove a point man. Mystic fucking poetry. I can do that too." Finishing the mouthfull he growls out.

For now we see in a mirror, darkly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known.

Realizing he may be talking to someone actually insane, and thats a bit unfair, he pulls back the attitude. Bloody moon. Thinking a bit about what Dalion might be trying to say..through the haze of possible insan..oh..

"So...you been through some shit then? And that fucked with you big time. And you can see more now. Eyes have been opened sort of thing?"

Dalion changed his position on the bench, now facing at George with a smile he said: "well that's pretty much the gist of it yeah, couldn't resist after you mentioned the blind prophet thing hahahahahaha"

George snorts in annoyed amusement.

"Dickhead."

Curiosity gets the better of him, even though he should get moving soon. Before the wolf creeping up has to start carrying on. Finishing the last of the meat, he asks.

"So..care to tell?"

"I... Uh... " Dalion expression changed again, now he turned around to avoid looking directly at George, he started to look to the ground and then started to run his hand through his hair slowly, over and over again, he was doing it with his left hand, the left half of his left hand was visibly burned a long time ago, all the skin was scarred, his little and heart fingers didn't had fingernails, and Dalion slowly ran his deformed hand over and over through his short hair.

Ah..more things on fire. First the faerie talking about houses burning, now this.

Shrugging as if he hadn't noticed Dalions scar or that he's acting distressed,

"Its alright. Just asking. Don't go to bad places if you dont wanna. Getting it off your chest might help your brains. But I aint pushing"

"uh hu, don't worry about that, I'm... " Dalion suddenly stood up with his hand over his belly, looked up to the sky.

"I'm going home, I got something to sort out and well, I think this was a very interesting day, but mom is going to get mad if I don't get to bed soon" He said with a smile.

"Uh..sure. No problem." George growls in surprise.

"I have to head too anyway. Got a ...moon thing to do..you know how it is.."

Wiping his hands on his pants, he holds a greasy paw out to Dalion.
"Nice to meet you. catch you 'round."

"Get that thing out of here!" he shouted in response as he pushed away George extended hand, immediately going for a hug after and patting his back. As he separated from George he told him:

"At Mercury Avenue's Bridge, scream Rahab as loud as you can and an asshole Genie will come out, as for me, I got a date with the stars" And then he started walking to walk towards his home.

"A genie?" He mutters to himself. "Of course."

Pulling off his shoes, he stretches his growing claws. Then, checking his hairy hands for excess grease, he wipes them again.

Breathing the air deeply, he lets the moon have its way, and lets the last of the change start washing over him.

With a howl, he takes off at a run towards the edge of town.

The day after the explosion, a sign appears in the window of the Pirate's Galley. In bold, block lettering, it reads: "Closed for repairs" and the doors are firmly locked.

GM's Note: Closing this location as it belonged to a character who withdrew from the game. I'm afraid we'll have to discover a new restaurant!
