[Dalion enters from Pirate's Galley Steakhouse]
"MMmmm? Oh, You're alive" was Rahab's greeting towards Dalion. Rahab observed how Dalion quietly sat down next to his campfire and stayed there for what must have been ten minutes without moving. "Thank god he's being quiet now" he thought.
Dalion proceeded to get up and get some items from his tent, then he came back and sat next to the fire, he took a stone quern that he had made himself, a small pan and a dropper. Rahab saw how Dalion took a blue flower that he had in his pocket, picked every petal from it and ground them in the quern until they turned into a paste, then he bit the upper part of the flower's stem and threw away the rest, he chewed on it but never swallowed it. After that he took the petal paste and mixed them with some strange salts that Dalion had with him, they were in a queer multicolored flask, after that he poured a small amount of water in the pan.
"Dalion..." said Rahab, but he didn't say anything else, he already knew what he was doing and didn't really feel he had any right to say anything about it.
Dalion waited for fo the water to boil as he kept chewing, and when it was bubbling he poured in the blue paste along with the flower stem that he was chewing, Dalion stirred the boiling mixture with his left little finger as if it was a wooden spoon. All the nerves from the left side of his hand must be dead, either that or he's self-inflicting some serious pain right now Rahab thought.
After a few moments Dalion took the pan away from the fire and let it cool down completely, then he picked the dropper and filled it with the unknown substance that Dalion had prepared. He saw Dalion look at the dropper, now filled with the light blue substance, Dalion stared and stared at the dropper. Rahab knew what he was waiting for, this was not the first time observing Dalion prepare his poison. After what must have felt like an eternity for Dalion the dropper started to glow faintly, very very faintly, the concoction was ready.
Dalion looked up to the sky and raised the dropper above his eyes, after a deep breath he started to pour the glowing blue liquid on his eyes, drop drop drop drop drop he poured them on his eyes until they ran down the sides of his face.
"He looks as if he was crying that blue crap" Rahab thought. "At least I know that I will have a peaceful night of sleep" he said to himself as he retreated to his tent, leaving Dalion alone.
