All of this is being made up as we go. As we establish details about a race, I will update this thread.

Fae
There are myriads of different kinds of fae from many different cultures. They range in temperament, size, and shape from tiny to man-sized and benevolent to downright evil.

The Courts of Sidhe exist and adhere loosely to the same mythology in our world. The Seelie and Unseelie Courts are up to their usual shenanigans. However, they have moved towards trying to form something of an alliance. This was sealed by a marriage between two members of the Spring and Autumn Courts. Buuut... that's not exactly turning out to have been the best idea in the world.

Fae can sense each others magic through touch.

Werewolves
Werewolves live in extended family based packs, and these packs can take on many forms. They can be a family of ranchers, an inner city gang, a group of circus performers... anything, really, that would accommodate a group of people working and/or living together.

They have good empathy, because packs are very in tune with each other. They tend to be touchy feelie types. They are good at reading others emotions and are very supportive of their friends and family.

Werewolves in this world are in control of their ability to change, for the most part. However, during the full moon, they are forced to shift into were form. However, they are still in complete control of their actions and emotions. They do not become mindless killing machines.

They do have a healing factor when in were form, but not in human form.

Werewolves are born, not created through a bite. Both parents must carry the proper gene to have a werewolf child.
