The Bellhollow Inn and Suites sits on the north side of Bellhollow, near the academy. During the school year, there's always a steady stream of people staying on site, visiting their kids or checking out the campus. There are also almost always visiting professors and researchers, usually there for some conference or class. And, of course, there are always the tourists and businessmen.

The outside is painted a sunny yellow that easily catches the eye when driving past. Unfortunately, it also means that it tends to turn a bit green in the spring when everything is blooming and pollen settles on everything in sight. There are beds of fragrant flowers planted along the walkways leading to the lower floors, and potted petunias hang every few feet along the upper floor walkways. Here and there, a hummingbird feeder glints ruby red, the dyed plastic of the liquid containers catching the sunlight.

The rooms themselves are standard fare for any hotel. They are clean and spartan, offering a bed, TV and bathroom. Nothing at all fancy. But, certainly comfortable enough that one isn't going to have trouble getting to sleep...

Unless you happen to be in Room 203. No one ever wants that room, though. Mostly because the staff warn everyone away. Apparently, there is a rather cranky ghost who "lives" there...

    Navigating between mirrors is a lot easier when you're not trying to cross between worlds, or being pursued by Hunters.
    It is, however, still mildly disorienting. Ryan passes several exit points - a restaurant bathroom, identified by a sign advising staff MUST wash their hands before returning to work ... a crazily-tilted scene that he realizes is the anti-shoplifting mirror in the booksore ... and then, a moment where he nearly emerges from the side view mirror on a truck speeding down the highway.
    There.
    It's the familar, safe lobby of the Bellhollow Inn & Suites. Nobody appears to be looking ...

    He steps out of the mirror.

    "Whoa, cool!" exclaims a young boy. "Mom! Dad! That guy just walked out of a mirror!"

NPC Being Run by George.

A worn out looking man rolls his eyes at a tall woman, immaculate, but old fashioned in dress.
"Yes Andrew, of course he did."

He whispers to his wife.
"Are you sure we cant afford therapy? He just makes things up all the time."

She keeps walking across the lobby.
"No. He just takes after his aunt is all. And this hick town always stirs him up. He gets too excited when we visit Aunty Cheryl and the kids."

Andrew, wide eyes at the Mirror Man, asks Ryan.
"Are you made of Glass?"

   At first, Ryan is concerned with the immediate - are the Hunters on his trail? They'd proven adept at tracking mirror-walkers before, so looking over one's shoulder became habit.
   And then he realizes the young boy is earnest. In a way, he reminds him of himself, years ago. Not entirely a precocious child, just one whose eyes were open.

   "You saw that, did you?" Ryan asked. "No, I'm not made of glass. See?"

   He holds up his hand.

   "My name is Ryan. You are?" he asks the young boy.

Checking carefully, He Could be glass and reflecting stuff.
"Im Andy. Where did you come from?"

   "You're very perceptive, Andy. I did walk out of the mirror," Ryan says. "It's something magicians can do, though it's pretty hard, sometimes."

   Ryan glances at Andy's parents, wondering if they know or even appreciate how special their son is.

Andy wonders what perceptive means, but cuts to the chase.

"You're a Madician!!?? Can I learn to be a Madician??" His face veritably shines with excitement at such a wonder.

Andys parents, the Daltons can be spied at the reception desk. Mrs Dalton is arguing loudly with the poor receptionist,and Mr Dalton is trying to not look at his watch in her view. Neither are paying any attention to Andy.

Andy looks over at them, then his face falls.
"Mum and Dad wouldnt let me. They would just think its a stupid game."

   "Not just anyone can work magic," Ryan told the boy. He glances towards the boys' parents, the mother lecturing the young woman at the front desk, a delightful girl named Madeleine, whose pleasant manner had made Ryan feel considerably safer about staying at the Inn, rather than hiding in a drainage culvert somewhere.


   "I bet you already know some magic, don't you?" he asks Andy.

Andy bites his lip, wondering if he should tell the Magician. He nods shyly.

"I think so..."

Looking at his parents again.

"Its probably naughty though...." Clearly nervous.

   "Naughty?" Ryan smiled. "Well, we wouldn't want that, not unless your parents say it's okay. Can you make something float, or make a light?"

   Ryan fishes a coin out of his pocket and holds it in the palm of his hand for a moment before it rises into the air and tumbles lazily end over end, then drops back into his hand.

   "Like that," he says.
