OOC: Just getting this up here so Solstice has a place to post. The fire department description will go here when I get a free moment. Just assume that when you enter, there are firemen milling about, taking care of various tasks. I can insert any NPC you create into this post, retroactively.

Also, anyone can feel free to create an NPC for Solstice to interact with. The situation is pretty straightforward. They had a magical healer as part of the team to help with emergencies and she moved to the coast to be with family. Now, the team is down a member.

In front of the station, there's a double line formation of firemen, while inside there's another group moving equipment around, they are all dressed in blue cargo pants and white shirts, except for the ones shouting orders, they are wearing blue jackets with insignias in front that differentiate them as ranking members.

In front of the group formed outside of the station, there's a robust woman with a blue jacket shouting orders, at her command the firemen in front of her march, salute or turn with military precision.

[Solstice enters from Antique Shop]

Solstice enters the building alone, Novin having gone home but Solstice wanted to at least see the place. He looked around at all the people and regretted coming alone.

"Good night sir, can I help you?" asked a blonde gal in uniform carrying in her arms a big oxygen tank, she saw Solstice standing close to the station and was curious about what was he doing there and at that time of the night.

Solstice turned as he was addressed with a weary smile. "I-I heard you had a position open for a healer... I um... I can come back in the morning if you prefer... Sorry to be an inconvenience..." He mumbled.

Her eyes widened at his response. "A healer you say? that's great! My team has been looking for one since the last one left!" The girl was pretty excited and was acting like a child that's having a sugar rush. "Oh please come, follow me, Chief!" she said as she started to franticlly walk toward the firewoman with the blu jacket. "Oh sorry my name is Amanda, what is your name?" But she didn't wait for an answer before calling again "Chief! Chief! Ma'am this guy says he's a healer, he can join my team and well be a full squad again and..."

"Calm down firewoman" commanded the firemen chief with an authoritative tone.

"Sorry Ma'am" answered Amanda as she stood in attention.

The chief looked at the fae man for a moment and narrowed her eyes as she looked up and down at Solstice. "So you say you're a healer, what do you mean by that?".

Solstice followed obediently but was clearly a little frightened by the sudden excitement. "M-my name is Solstice Flames..." He mumbled, but when the woman talked over him he clammed right back up.

The fae withered under the fire-chief's stern look and shrunk in on himself. "I-is there more than one type of healing magic? Should I know more than one? I-I'm sorry..." He mumbled.

"Magical healing then? sorry I do have to insist on asking you, I've been Chief of this here department for a few years and I have seen some strange thing, can you believe that I got a freaking necromancer trying to join the force here? what the hell, I still ask myself if the guy was that oblivious or if he was just trying to get a laugh at my expense, I mean, everybody knows that necromancy is illegal right? Don't they teach that at school anymore? Bah! anyways... if you are capable of performing NORMAL healing magic and not some abhorrent variation I would like you to come tomorrow and sign up for our new recruits course, there we will test you to see if you have what it takes to be a fireman in my department, but I'm warning you, young man, I may accept everybody as a recruit but only the best make it to be one of my firemen". The Chief crossed her arms in an attitude of waiting for Solstice's response.

Solstice was feeling less and less sure of his abilities by the second. "Y-yes Ma'am. I'm a normal healer. No... No Necromancy here..." He assured, wings twitching a bit with his discomfort. "I'll come back tomorrow, bright and early." He told the woman.

"Excellent! young man, when you come tomorrow tell whoever you find at the front desk that you talked to chief Janice already and that you are there for the new recruits course, now if you excuse me I have some slackers to drill into true firemen". Chief Janice immediately turned towards the group of young sweating firemen that stood in attention, they were grateful for the moment of rest from the grueling drills that Solstice's presence offered.

"Well, I hope to see you tomorrow mister Solstice, my name is Amanda Regal... uh I think I already said that haha".

"Amanda! don't you have somewhere else to be right now? I thought I told you to unload those oxygen tanks about ten minutes ago" said Chief Janice.

"Yes Ma'am" she responded as her body straightened up like a scared cat and started to move frantically towards the insides of the station with the heavy oxygen tank on her hards.

Solstice took another long moment to look around. This felt more like bootcamp than an a fire department. But then again what did he know about either. He sighed and Started to walk away now that attention was off him. But he was worried he wouldn't be able to keep up. Magic or no, he knew he was pathetic looking.

The next morning, Solstice returns to the fire department building bright and early. The fae was nervous but determined. He walked into the office part of the building with his downward but he would not shy away from this.

Inside the office, a young fireman was speaking through the radio in a coded language he finished saying something about a 90-5 and over, after that he asked Solstice: "What can I help you wi-"

"Mister Solstice!" said the young Amanda from behind Solstice, "I'm glad you came, and it's a good time right now, we're about to start."

She clarified what was Solstice doing there to her colleague, after a moment she asked Solstice to follow her inside the station.
