Parthenope's Rock, is a Jazz club, modeled on a 1920's speakeasy. The entrance is via a rubbish strewn lane in Downtown Bellhollow. Patrons in the know can find an old service door with a dim orange light over it. With a knock, the door will open...spilling apricot coloured light out into the darkness. Strains of a Billy Holiday number fill the night air.

During the night the club is a lively joint, if obscure.
Daytime shows a more faded decor, with a sleepy atmosphere. A couple of older musos sit in a corner eating fried onions and talking forgotten gigs and groupies. A bored waitress,tiny deer horns visible trough her curls, dumps a jug of something limed and iced in front of them, scoops up change, and sashays back to the bar to sit and dream again.

As the group enter, she perks up a bit.
"Hi'ya folks...after a quiet bite ta eat, n some chill tunes? We got Eli coming in to play inna bout half n hour."
She shows the group to a table, with an assortment of mismatched chairs and hand them all menues printed on fake old vinyl sleeves.

Solstice gave a halfhearted glance at the menu, feeling decidedly uncomfortable in the midst of people he barely knew. He found very little that was appetizing but kept quiet about it. He did like the music and so he listened quietly with his nose hidden in the menu so he wouldn't have to socialize.

As they all take a seat, George orders a jug of local beer and glasses for all including Lysette.
"You might not drink ..beer.., but its only polite to offer a glass." as he pours for everyone, drinks half of his off, and refills it.With a glance at the menu, he then orders a bunch of fried wings. "Somethi8ng to gnaw on while we choose actual food."

"So...want to hunt robot magic creatures? Or maybe work out what Old Mate dead guy was so afraid of he put up extra wards and stuff?"

Wings arrive, and he grabs one to crunch down, bones and all, while thinking.

Solstice looked up at the meaty sick crunch that could only be a broken bone "Di-... Did you just eat a bone?" He asked, quiet disbelief in his voice.

George looked up from the menu.
"What? Oh...yeah...um...lost of calcium." Picking up another, he looks at it. Crisp, tasty , and perhaps a little bony sure..
"How in hell do you Not eat the bones..their so crunchy. Like a packet of chips, only with meat."

About to devour the second the same as the first, he pauses.
"Uh...is it too ...what was that word..brutish?"

Solstice looked equal parts grossed out and frightened. "I'm pretty sure if I attempted to eat a bone I would choke and probably die..." He said softly.

"Heh...wolf. I like bones."
Crunching the second down, he then sits up from his slouch, and assumes a serious and polite tone.
 "Tell you what. i'll try and eat all dainty, if you try and enjoy yourself for once."
Taking a third, he attempts to nibble the meat off with sharp teeth."This is trickier than it looks..."

"What are we doing here, mis amigos?" asks Lysette, lighting up a small cigar. "Grossing one another out? Easy to do.

"The police have asked us to help investigate crimes of an unearthly nature -- in an unofficial capacity. I'm happy to help out. Happy to meet with you and share insights from time to time. But you guys are not really my type and I'm not planning on becoming anyone's best friend.

"So maybe we come up with a plan for investigating el muerto from the basement. And don't forget the mechanical bird thing that was watching us. Someone is paying attention to this investigation, someone who had eyes on the event itself.

"I'd like to find out who that is. Any ideas?"

She exhales smoke as she sits back and almost unconsciously her body begins to move with the rhythm of the music in slow, sensuous stirrings of her arms and long legs.

George pouts slightly."I'm trying not to be gross." As he gently puts the bones on a side plate and wipes hands on a napkin. "See."

Resisting the plate for a bit, he leans back and stares at her cooly. "Your 'friends' don't always do so well, do they, Ms Vargus? So..acquaintance is just fine." Then he laughs, unable to match Lysettes amazing poise, arrogant though it is.
"An acquaintance who will wash that car...clothed...for lifts to wherever we investigate."

Pulling a pen and worn notebook from his bag, he flicks past a shopping list, to an empty page and starts writing. His penmanship is far nicer than the notebook deserves.
"So...what do we know?"
"Magic robots."
"Non magic runes, and a fae trap."
"Something stolen.and ..L merto probably questioned before dying."
"Willing to use magic explosions to cover things up...but didn't do it that well.."

He taps the pen against his teeth thinking.
"So...how do you build and power magic windup toys? Could be some autoshop is needed? And what do you all know about magic traps, artificing, or rune scribbles?"

The waitress goes to remove the leftover bones, and Geroge puts his hand over it. "Nooope. Saving them for a doggy bag."
She laughs, little horns bobbing in mirth. "Yeah puppy, I figured. Gunna pop 'em in a foil wrap for yer."

Solstice sighed deeply. "I appreciate the effort." He said, though already seemed a bit weary.

"As for the runes... It is possible that something too powerful for them tried, and succeeded, in breaking through. Sometimes when a protection spell breaks, it causes a small pop of energy. Add in enough raw power from either the protector or the attacker, and this pop ends up being more like an explosion." He said. "So that could be where our explosion came from... As for the robot. it could simply be an enchanted drone made to look like a bird for aesthetic reasons..." He offered.

"Also, I wouldn't really call the door handles a trap... Iron works the same way to a fae no matter the form... I just didn't expect a door handle to be pure iron... Usually they're copper or brass. So really, that was my fault..." The fae man's wings dipped a bit in shame, though this was possibly the most words he'd said to any of them in one sitting.

"Mmmmm..good point." George ate the last wing carefully, while staring at a wall thinking.
"But it wasn't a killing door knob. And, as you say, it's unusual. Perhaps a warning to a certain Fae person? In fact, If you hadn't opened the door, none of the rest of us would have noticed it. So..yeah..your fault we found a clue."
He drinks Lysettes beer, as she hasn't touched it. An offering refused by a goddess can be consumed by the devotees after all.

"I wonder who his friends..or maybe annoying acquaintances..were? Some one had to know him."

"Any being powerful enough to create a blast that big from just a shattering protection spell it far too strong to be disswayed by a door handle. If anything that would just make them more angry... Possibly why the man in the basement is dead..."

"It might not have been for them. As you say, its just a door knob."
He scratches his jaw, thinking.
"And , it seems more a warning than a trap. You burnt your hand, but, it wouldn't have stopped you, if you need in. So...I'm thinking, it was more a "no hawkers" sign, not a real trap. Indicating he expected possible rude fae visitors, but not deadly ones?"
George cocks his head, regarding Solstice with a curious look as a thought occured to him.
"Do Fae give off different magic flavours? Like a scent. Did the residue have that taste, you think?"

"It's not a flavor. It can be most simply described as an Aura... A wavelength of magic that is different to each fae but similar types of magic all hit key points. Mine for example, fire mixed with healing would have a sort of, warm tea with honey and cinnamon feel to it... That's... Not an exact one to one match but... Hot and nice... But with magic aura..." He explained.

"So...you're saying...." George gives the Fae man a smoldering intense look. "You taste, but don't 'taste'...hot and nice..."

Solstice backed up as much as his seat would allow him without pushing further back. His face was bright red with a blush. "I... Feel vaguely threatened..." He mumbled, returning the intense look with wide owlish eyes.

For a moment it seemed as if George was going to lean over the table, then he stops and drops his head to the table, screwing his eyes shut.
"Please...stop that. You're setting off all sorts of 'red riding hood' instincts damnit....cant help being wolfish this time of the month."

"Stop what, being scared of someone looking at me like a piece of meat-?" He snapped, starting to get irritated.

"Thats better....be angry." He sighs, still laying on the table.
"Im sorry..I...dont want to scare you. But...the wolf bit is really rubbish at.."
He blushes then as well. "it gets confused when um...I get stupid."

Solstice rolled his eyes and went back into his little menu fort, glaring at it more than reading it. He was done with this entire arrangement and wondered why he even stuck around with it.

"......you do smell nice though."

Solstice glared. "Keep it up and this menu is getting shoved up your nose." He threatened.

"it would be a change from being swatted with a rolled up newspaper."

Solstice elected to just ignore the wolf man, as he had before and glared at his menu. Nothing was all that much to his liking. Most human style food wasn't, probably why he was so thin for a fae.

A tall woman walks in via the kitchen, pulling a large case. She starts setting up some equipment on a small corner stage. Shes tall, reed thin, with slick black hair down to her knees, tied back from her face with green coloured ribbons. With a wave at Jessamine as she gets ready, she soon has herself set up behind an electronic deck, with a number of horned instruments beside her.

Soon she starts playing a simple flute tune, with a light jazz mix coming from the speakers. She doesn't introduce her self, except with a flourish top the audience, on the flute, before she starts a second more lively afro jazz instrumental with a small horn.

Changing settings on her electronic deck, she hums slightly as she selects beats and samples. Theres a slight scent drifting trough the air, of summer nights and salty oceans.
Then she smiles, picks up a set of small pipes and starts on her next meandering piece. The joint quiets as a number of patrons stop chatting and nod along.

Solstice watched the performance for several more moments before turning back to the group.

"....does anyone else smell the sea?"

Breathing deeply of the briny air, George relaxes into the musics vibe,
"I want to poke around in rock pools, and chase the tides."

Solstice paused and took a deep breath. "Yes, I smell it too... Interesting choice of perfume... Unless that's a mer..." He trailed off, taking a good long look at the musician in question.

Solstices closer look reveals a swirl of magic around her. Subtle and ethereal, it seems there's two effects going on.
She radiate a mist like glamour...sea foam and flight. Her electronic seem to have their own. Its emitting a stronger, more focused aura, that blends with hers..both amplifying and subduing certain aspects of her own glamour. Not a mermaid..not quite.

Watching the patrons more closely, the men seem more entranced than the women , in general...more vacant and dreamy eyed. ..Solstice can feel some pull, but the effect doesn't seem to cling, unlike what appears to be happening to most of the other males in the room.

Solstice's mouth pressed into a thin line at this before relaxing. This woman seemed not to have any harmful intent with this magic, only to show off and entertain. Then he looked back at George in front of him, seeing the half dazed look on the other man and snapping his fingers quickly near his ear. "Keep your wits! That's a siren- Don't get sucked in or you might do something crazy. Well... More than your usual..." He trailed off, giving the woman a slight side eye. The music was nice but this could be a simple prelude to worse intentions.

The fae man raised his wings a bit higher, letting the light catch them slightly, as if to say 'I too hold power. Tread carefully.' Not I direct threat but more of a sign of recognition and warning. He had no interest in a fight but if he had to act a bit more bold to keep peace, then he would.

George shock his head at the snapping fingers.
"Huh?What? Siren?"
He looked around the room, blinking.
"Yeah...shes got a great sound...reminds me of running free..."
And he drifts off to the music again.

Eli notices Solstices wing language and winks. With a flourish she finishes the tune, and puts the pipes down. She turns knobs on her machine, carefully adjusting something, then looks over at him.
Raising a fine figured hand, she waves, sharp nails glinting in the spot light.
The next instrumental is a little more pulled back.

The sea recedes a little, and misty flower gardens at night move through the room.

Solstice maintained his best attempt at bored eye contact as she did this, but his wings trembled slightly before he looked away to save the rest of his dignity. He looks back at George and just resigns himself to keeping an eye on the man for the rest of the performance. He could admit the music was nice. But that didn't mean he trusted it.

The music continues to fill the room, its scents shifting through various chill dreamscapes. The various punters mostly seem to be enjoying the sensations, even if they cant 'smell' the magic. Conversations are low pleasant murmurs. Couples smile and laugh gently, and lone diners groove along with quiet smiles on their lips. A few more cocktails are ordered by patrons here and there, and the waitress drops one next to Eli as well..

As people walk past at times, there is often a pause, as they drop a note into Elis tip jar. Each donation brings an embellishment of notes from her, but still she doesn't speak, or sing.

George seems satisfied to sit quietly and hum along, occasionally doodling in his notebook. Unfocused, but also less wolfish, it doesn't seem to be doing any harm.

Solstice sighed a little and let himself relax, just a bit. Be carried away by the waves of the music just a little, like a boat tied to the doc. Still experiencing the ocean, but firmly rooted to the land.

Music, and scents, for those who could experience them, ebbed and flowed through the room until, with a languid  last piece that spoke of ebbing tides and drifting ribbons of watery plants, Eli finished her set.

She carefully packer her equipment, nodding at Jessamine when she placed a jug of water and glass next to her. Drinking 3 glasses rapidly, she sat, and puled out a note book and pen. Pink tongue between sharp teeth in thought, she quickly wrote something down. Checking it, she filled her galls again and walked over to the groups table.

Stopping a polite distance away, she nodded at them all face serene yet impassive, Then, looking directly at Solstice, she gestured to am empty chair, clearly inquiring as to if she could sit.

Somewhat inured to the siren's song by her gender, Lysette is guarded and a little bit suspicious as the woman joins them.

Solstice was surprised the siren considered him the group's authority given he was sat next to an actual cop... kinda. But gave a curt nod regardless.

Eli placed her glass and pulled the chair back to settle herself. Silk fabric, flowing over slender  leg lightly brushed Lysettes thigh as she sat. Flicking the ends of her dress to curl around her feet mermaid style, she smiled brightly at all in thanks, teeth so white, they practically sparkled.

George just stared at her, silent and moon eyed. The captivating singer was at their table. Wonderful. Even without any tail at the moment, he still seemed to exude joyful wagging.

Running one hand over her hair absently, as if to smooth its already perfect fall, she tore a page out and pushed it over to the fae man.

"Well met. I hope.
Forgive my intrusion good people.
I am called Saeneli-Eli for ease.
May I ask who you are please?
You watched my performance, and gave stern warning.
I would ask why, except I believe you have identified my heritage.
Now, I do not wish to start anything, but, If I chose to speak, most all the males in the room will defend me from brute attackers.
So...I shall not engage my defenses without parley first.
What business it is of yours, if I choose to use my talents and skills to feed myself?"

"Believe me, Querida," Lysette speaks softly to the entrancing singer. "We are the last people on Earth to interfere with a paranormal presence. Among us, we represent most of the fears and terrors of the human race.

"But we have set aside our differences to take up a common cause. The police in our city have come across a crime that seems to involve more than human elements. And we are agreed to investigate and lend our own special talents if needed.

"Would you be interested in joining us?"

Slender fingers took the note book back, as their owner gave Lysette a small, close lipped smile.
Taking up her pen, she fiddled with it a bit, thinking. Then, taking her time, she wrote something out, and passed the note to the vampiress.

"Well, I can assure you I am merely a musician, only using my abilities and equipment to enhance the audience experience. I am not sure what help I could be.

That said, I quite like the idea of seeing where you beautiful beings go. It could be quite inspirational for my music, if nothing else.

What sort of work would you envision me undertaking with your posse?"

Watching Lysette read the note with a arched eyebrow and enigmatic smile, she idly scratched the besotted wolfmans head.

Solstice folded his arms over his chest, looking equal parts embarrassed as desolate. "Perhaps I was ill advised to judge you so swiftly and harshly... For I'm new to this town and am still getting used to seeing magic used to causally... I thought you were bringing harm on these people... And for this judgement, I most humbly apologize..." He said, head bowed.

Eli looked at him, assessing him carefully. Then wrote something and passed it over.

"I do apologize for the threats my Lord. Some from your kingdoms can get very particular.
I still take sustenance from men, but via trade. Music for coin. Coin for butchers meats.
Not as satisfying as rending flesh of willing bones, but, this is less offensive to many."

Solstice saw the word "Lord" on the paper and looked at it for a long while with an expression of growing unease. He seemed to become even more pale and quickly looked away, saying nothing.

The siren shifts and smiles as she senses his unease.
Taking her pen up, she writes again and puts the note on the table as she stands.

"Well, thank you for this nice exchange.
I'll just get shaggy lad here to carry my equipment to the car. If he doesnt mind.
He'll be sent him back when I'm done."

Her hand brushes Lysettes as she leaves the note. There is nothing in her face to indicate she noticed, but a finger nail trails ever so lightly across the vampires skin.

Bending over George she whispers softly. "You want to help me with my equipment don't you?" She scruffs his hair, as the wolfman nods eagerly.
"Sure!" Jumping up he heads over to her things, then looks at her for guidance.

......

Outside as he loads her van, she leans against the side, smoking something cloved and sparking.
"So...you have healing powers when you're a wolf mmm?" The whisper drifts through the late afternoon air.
"Oh..yeah. Pretty good." He beams proudly, eager to please this wondrous woman. "Not too bad even when not."
"mmmmmmmm." Her delicate tongue flicks over her very white, very sharp teeth.
"Why?"
"Oh..no reason..want to come over and listen to some music, maybe get a ..mm..pizza?" She smiles hopefully, all wistful and innocence.
"Sure...uh, I should let..."
"No, I told them in the note I wrote you might come along with me..to help unload and stuff. They didnt seem to mind.." She voice swum into his brain.
"Well then.."
Grinning happily George held her hand to assist he in climbing into the van, then trotted around to the passenger side and hopped in.
With a small choke of smoke, the van rolled out of the parking lot and into the growing dusk.

Solstice was on alert as the two left. Something wasn't right. He thought maybe he was just paranoid and tried to relax. But when George didn't come right back he stood to go check, telling Lysette where he was going and swiftly walking out just in time to see the car peal out of there. He gasped and took off in flight after it.

With a flurry of wings, Solstice took off into the air, to follow.
The van was able to pull ahead,in the winding inner city streets, driver unaware of her tail. Able to follow the van, without being seen, Solstices natural caution prevented any rash move on the Siren, in the metal box, capable of crushing a person in a side swipe.

The van drove a while, heading out of the inner city, and into suburbia. Its pursuer needed to drop back as the streets became less crowded, but the encroaching night helped hide his movements...

Eventually, it pulled up outside a nice folk victorian house, painted a quaint seafoam green. Sliding out of the drivers seat, the siren opened the side door as George climbed out and joined her, goofy grin on his face.
Giving him a quick kiss on the now very hairy cheek, she directs him to carry her things to the house, and skips up the path to open the door.

Solstice watches her walk into the house and slowly sneaks over to George. Once the coast is clear he puts a hand on his shoulder and casts a small curse breaker, hoping it's enough. "Wake up George... It's time to go home..." He says softly.

George jumps in shock, and almost drops the speaker hes carrying.
"Shit Solstice! What are you doing here? I nearly dropped this."
He steadies himself, and starts carrying it to the door.
"What do you mean wake up? I'm fine..just helping. I like helping."

Solstice gripped his shoulder slightly. "Put down the speaker. We need to leave. That siren is dangerous." He said, shaking the wolfman slightly.

Stopping as fae magics circle him invisibly, hen puts the speaker down gently, and turns to look at Solstice.

"Dangerous? We're just going to listen to some tunes, and eat pizza. Maybe a little..." He winks and grins.

Solstice shot him a half hearted glare. "Unless you want her to bite it off, then you best come with me. Quickly, before she comes back- She cast a spell on you to get you to come here. We need to go, now!" He tried to push George away from the car but due to their difference in bulk it wasn't an easy task.

"She what?"
Slowly thinking, and with fae magic pushing away the sirens effects, George starts allowing himself to be pushed.

"Bite it off?? Ohhhh..fuck..that explains the healing questions.."

Solstice looked over his shoulder. "Quickly. Quickly! She'll be out any second!" He urged in a harsh whisper, pushing the man down the road back the way they had come. He hoped they would be gone by the time they realized and he suddenly regretted not bringing anyone else. His magic could resist hers but he wasn't totally immune.

"Puppy? Where are you?"
A sighing sugar spun voice wafts past them as they walk hurriedly away.
"I need my last speaker.....its so heavy?"
The woman cant be seen, the pleading seeming to be caried by the night breeze, for their ears only.
"Oh, shit..I left the speaker on the sidewalk. Gotta go get that inside.. "
George turns, and starts to trot back to Elis home.

Solstice pulled the werewolf back by his shoulders, digging his nails in a little and using physical contact to channel his magic in with more force. "No- NO! You're not going inside, we're leaving!" He hissed in a harsh whisper. He changed tactics and stated to use his own hypnotic powers to try and override hers, hoping he would be strong enough.

"Owe." George jerks at the dig of nails.
"...But.." The fae powers flowing through him halt his progress.
"I guess..she got them into the club herself..."

"...I'm going to take a shower....join me when you finish with the sweaty work?" The voice, which should not be audible, except powered by her seductive magics, reaches the wolfmans ears, and coils to push against the fae glamours.

"Gwark..."
Eyes glued to the seagreen house, George starts moving towards it again. Desire, and resistance work with the pull of the moon, and bones start cracking and shifting under Solstices hands.


OOC-Eli rolled 5 on a D6. Solstice was given an advantage for physical contact, but her Siren hypnosis has the edge at the moment. especially as she has been working on him for a good half hour. .

Solstice paled, using his full body weight to hang off the wolf man to slow his progress. "No no no! Listen to me! She just wants to hurt you! Don't go in there- I'm begging you!" His voice was getting louder as he got more and more panicked, fighting away the siren's influence with all he could.

Seemingly ignoring the drag of another persons, George continues, face shifting, cracking slightly, and a toothy muzzle answers the pleas.

"Ahh...com'on...shes just going to take a bit or two, here and there. Small mouth too. ...i'll get better...and did you see her.? Shes in the shower now...ts worth it.."

He stops for a moment, to remove shoes "ahh...gonna wreck my stuff...hold on a minute.." He seems oblivious to the desperation of the fae man, treating it as a nice conversation on the way to a friends. Dropping the shoes, furred thick hands attempt shirt buttons.

Solstice let out a heavy sigh. "Please don't hate me later for this..." He mumbled and  used his magic to try and put the wolfman to sleep.

Sitting to remove his pants, George yawns. His jaws, looking big enough to bite an arm right off, gape in weariness.
"mmm..sorry..maybe just a little nap first."
Settling into the garden of the house they are in front of, he curls up. The big furry mound, tail over his muzzle, starts snoring.

"Oh thank fuck... He stopped..." The fae looked down at the sleeping man and frowned. "Now how the hell am I gonna move him?" He muttered to himself. He sighed, grabbing George by the ankles and trying to drag him away.

Kicking off Solstaces attempts to pull him, George rolled in his sleep and scratched at his legs as if fleas bit.

Soon the night filled with loud wolf snores.

Solstice sighed and sat on the grass, out of ideas and nearly out of time. He briefly wondered why he even cared. What did he have to gain or lose if something happened to the man in front of him. But a part of him reminded him it was the right thing to help. But that didn't make it any more likely they would get out without someone getting hurt.

Shifting in his sleep, the wolf senses someone nearby, and reaching out a large furred arm, pulls the warm body into his furry bulk. Settling down again with a comfortable sigh of hot wolf breath, the snoring starts uo again.

From the seagreen house, several residences down, a tall figure emerges onto the shadowed porch, and starts looking around.

Solstice had the wind knocked out of him as he was yanked down. He let out a harsh grunt as he was squeezed. "Oh for- uhg- Fine- I guess I just have to deal with this now too..." He muttered ruefully, letting his head fall with gravity and crossing his arms.

The shadow form walks down her garden path and out onto the street.

Standing under a streetlight, Eli looks around, searching the early evening streets, watching peoples cars drive home from work. Windows lit with welcome, and the aromas of man dinners being prepared.

"Where are you my darling? Its dinner time." Her voice carries through the night, soft and seductive. It finds their ears, and George whines slightly, then settles back still sleeping.

Straightening with frustration, Eli starts to stride into the street, then, as a car horn sounds, jumps back.

Solstice could hardly move where he was sat. He heard the car horn go off and he winced, fearing the worst.

She peers around for a little longer, then, stamping her foot, ever so dramatically, stalks back into her house, slamming the door so hard, Solstice could hear it naturally.

Solstice let out a breath he hadn't realized he was holding and took a moment to calm down.

George snuffles slightly in his sleep, shifts to get more comfortable, and resumes snoring.

Solstice decided he was at his limit for hugs for the time being and started to struggle his way out of the wolfman's arms.

The squirming and wriggling, disturb the sleeping wolfman enough, that a small whine and sleepy snort escape, as he rolls and Shifts, ending up curled in a ball, full wolf, with tail over snout. Solstice free. Next to a large sleeping wolf, nested the overgrown gardens flowers and weeds.

Solstice smiled almost fondly at the wolf. He pet him gently for a time before standing and casting a counter to his own magic, to awaken him.

[OOC] I don't think there should be a roll for this because it's his own magic he's dismissing.

The wold twitches, then stretching full length along the grass,gives a huge yawn. Blinking a little, he scratches behind his ear, then looks around bewildered. Seeing Solstice he cocks his head, questioningly, confused and still groggy from sleep.

"C'mon... I'm getting you out of here... Follow me..." He said in a calm voice.

George yips quietly and stands up. He stiffs around the grounds for a moment, still a little confused. Then, looking up at Solstice, he wags his tail happily and gives the fae a big dog grin, clearly fine with the plan.

Solstice smiled a bit and began walking away, checking over his shoulder to make sure George was still following him. He couldn't help but find the wolf almost cute in his own way.

Nails clicking on the sidewalk, the wolf follows him. Periodically he stops to sniff at dog mail points, and occasionally make a post.

After a little bit he wuffs up at Solstice, as he trots along. Then skips around him, wuffs again and runs ahead a bit, wolf jaws open in joy. Stopping, he turns back, wuffs again, and skips. Clearly indicating an invitation to run, for the hell of it.

Watching the nervous Fae keep walking carefully, he yips, then trots back. Snuffing carefully at Solstices wings, he wuffs again, and gallops off ahead, turns, and waits, skipping excitedly on the spot.

Solstice smiled softly at George's antics and picked up his walking speed a bit to humor the fluffy wolf. But when his wings were sniffed he tensed up and froze on the spot, but the soft bark snapped him out of it and he continued moving. He didn't yell or scold him, but he did look several degrees more tense.

Looking a little hangdog at having upset the fae ...again...the wolf trots quietly, slower, for a few moments, until a bark gets his attention.

An old dog barked again, excited at the night time walkers. Going to the gate, George and the old dog sniff, and lick muzzles for a moment. The wolf then scrabbles up the gate, enough to see the gate lock. Staring at it a moment, puzzling it, he then flicks the latch, and drops back so the gate opens.
With a joyful bark, old dog trots out. He accompanies them to the end of the block, then sits, wheezing, joy evident that he got a little night walk.

With a goodbye muzzle lick with tired, but happy old dog, George continues down the street, trotting fast again, and glancing back at Solstice. Follow me, he definitely seems to grin.

Solstice panics a bit at the open gate. "No no don't let out other peoples dogs- oh fuck-" he tried to herd the old dog back the way it had come. "Go on old boy. Back home with you. Go on-" He urged.

After taking his rest, Old Dog, happily allows himself to be taken back to his yard.

George watches, disappointment obvious radiating from the wolf.

Solstice got the old dog back in his own fence and gave the scruffy boy a good pet before locking it back up and walking to George. "Alright Mr trouble. No more letting out other animals. They have to stay in their own homes where they're safe." He told him, not sure how much he could understand.

The wolf whines slightly, then nods.
He then spots a large moth and jumps at it, to make it fly. Yipping with glee when it takes off.

Solstice smiled faintly as he watched. "You sure are something..." He mumbled.

After trotting along for a little longer, the wolf turns down a side street, glancing back at Solstice to make sure he's following.

Soltice was following still, starting to realize he wasn't walking the wolf, it was the other way around. But strangely he didn't mind.

following side streets and lanes, very soon they reached on older part of town. Feed lot stores, residences with large, outspread lands, truck bases, some abandoned warehouses, and vacant lots. The night is quieter, people at home,sleeping, or listening to late night radio waves.

The wold crosses through a concreted lot, under street lights, and heads into one of the vacant lots. Its covered in overgrown grass, old trees, and rusted metal frames, rotting slowly in the elements. Weed flowers poke though tall grasses, and crickets peep at the sky.

When he gets to the lot, he slows down and walks much more slowly, letting out a quiet wuff in the direction of the lot, then looks back at Solstice, and waits for him to catch up.

Solstice was still following, albeit slightly slower as he took in all the sights around him.

George settles himself down in a clearish patch of flowering weeds and makes a small chuffing sound. The wolf is clearly intent on a rusted bulk of something, covered in overgrown vines, and old webs and dirt.

Quietly he watches, seemingly waiting, calm and still, except to look at the fae occasionally, one ear cocked, Just So, as if to say its all fine.

Solstice sat on the ground nearby. He didn't mind getting slightly dirty.

After a small while, theres a small noise from the pile, and a rustling. Wriggling out of a space between some bricks, and a rusted car door, comes a badger.

It pauses, sniffs around, letting its excellent nose tell it whats about.
Then,it waddles over to the wolf, and snuffles at him. He stays mostly still, with just a tail thump on the dirt. Satisfied, the badger, waddles back and squeaks.

A few moments later a wobbling wriggling tumble of badger pups roll out. # pups excitedly separate out, and start playing. Very soon they are playing catch the monster with the wolfs tail. With her children safely being watched, mumma heads off into the long grasses to find some dinner.

The wolf gives the fae a wide dog smile, pleased with himself for producing wild badger pups for Solstice to see playing in the moonlight.

Solstice gasped softly, then smiles. He doesn't dare touch one. He lets them come to him, and if they do, he gives them a gentle but brief pet. He didn't want the mama mad at him for disturbing her babies.

The badger pups play fight the wolf's tail, with tiny squeals, rolling in the dirt and grass. Balls of grey striped fur tussle, testing their strength in the moonlight, safe, while guardians watch them as mother hunts.

Tiny things, yet ever so ferocious.

Until they get tired. Then, two curl up between Georges forelegs, while the third waddles over, and leans against the Fae's leg, and snuggles down to nap, quietly squeaking to itself.

Solstice felt like his heart was melting. He gently pet the sleeping pup with a single finger and murmured little coos to it.

The wolf watched, thinking were thoughts.

Finally Ultraviolet was smiling, relaxed.
All creatures should be happy because the world is wonderful.

Solstice looked up at the sky and let out a long sigh, like a lot of piled up weight left his shoulders.

They sit quietly, in the moonlight and shadows. Looking over the pups as they slept.

Sitting in silence, what seemed like a quiet, still night, slowly came alive.
Crickets stoked their abdomens, insect violins to mates. Frogs in small culverts sung out, using echos to make themselves sound grand. little rodents made rustles in the weeds as they looked for seeds and insects. Grasses susurratted in the night breezes.

Eventually, a larger rustling in the grasses heralded the return of mumma badger.

Snuffing and grunting, she waddles up to them, and sniffs everyone carefully...Satisfied her pups are safe and unharmed, she licks Georges snout, then gathers her sleepy pups.

Soon they have returned to their hide under the rusty car door, mumma grunting happily as she disappears.

Solstice was sad to see them go, but he knew he had to let them, nature had to do its own thing. He looked over at George.

The were looked happy. Almost serene. Unlike when human, he seemed to fit in with his surroundings. At one with nature, and happy to just be.

Noticing Solstices attention, he lifted his ears, signalling attention back. Then, stretched, yawned, and stood up. Taking a few steps over to Solstice, he licked his face once, ignored any reaction, and turned and took a few steps away.

Stretching again, the wolf yawns again, then hunches. Creaking and grinding sounds fill the night. With tearing of ligaments, and shifting bones the wolf shifts into a hunched wolfman, back turned to the fae.

"..cant talk wwhen wwwolf....." The words are gravelly, slurred. Too many teeth, or too much wolf in the head, maybe.
"..rrrrrr..wolf thinks differrrent, man thinks diffferrrent, ..this..thinks,..both..but..different again.."

Turing his head, yellow eyes gleaming he rumbles. "...thank you..for..befforre.."

Solstice made a noise of shock at the lick, having not suspected the sudden act. But when George began to transform again he moved to get up, thinking he was in pain, but stopped when he spoke. "I... It was nothing..." He waved a hand in hurried dismissal. "I couldn't let her just snatch you away like that. If anything, it's my fault for not dispatching her right as soon as we saw her. And for that I'm truly sorry." He professed, hand over heart.

"..what?...noo.Not yourr fault. Hers."
He hangs his shaggy head in embarrassment.
".rrrr....mine too. ..human me wwould prrobably have followed her withoout magic.."

Solstice sighed. "No... As a being of higher power, I failed to protect you... I failed my responsibility..." He looked away. "Regardless of what your actions might or might not have been if the circumstances were different..." He mumbled, wings drooping. "I just wish I had known better..." He closed his eyes. "Seems wherever I go I bring nothing but failure and pain... I'm such a useless creature!" He curled up. Clearly these feelings had been bubbling under the surface for some time now, but this was the straw that broke the camels back.

"...bbut..you can make magic!...And yooo rescued me..." George growls.
"not useless..."
He looked around the lot, at the night sky, and at the fae man.
"...mmmmm.." He rumbled, thinking. "..you are part of it all. The world..or maybeeee wworlds in your case..Thats all you Need to be."

Shaggy brows furrow, and he concentrates on reforming his jaws a little.
"I dont think a lot...not like normal people, but, I feel a lot. and, when human...its scary and messy and theres too many things to think...."

He scratches his head, claws are brilliant for rumination scratching.
"I think thats what wolf me was showing you...the small worlds..and it was because , you seemed , you always seem, sad, and scared. And, I knew, as wolf, thats not right or natural. be scared when its time, be happy when its time, be sad when its time, ...but ...dont be only one thing all the time."

Solstice smiled sadly, listening patiently as the wolfman spoke. But he shook his head. "My world... My real home... Was taken some time ago... and ever since then... I haven't been able to recover... Physically I'm weak... I can barely eat the food of this world... it's so processed and manufactured... And don't even get me started mentally... The truth is I no longer have a place... And any place I try to be, just turns sour..." He lamented. "But you don't need to carry my burdens... I'm sorry for dumping this on you..." He mumbled

"huh...that sucks.."

The wolfman looks at the moon, thinking, feeling.

"I get it.....you know weres and wolves are supposed to have a pack....i don't."
The low growl is pure misery. But then he brightens, capricious and in the now as always.
"BUT! I Can help you with unprocessed food. I raise some chickens for eggs, and grow some veggies around my van..uh..home."

Solstice looked at him with wide eyes, a small flicker of hope within. "Oh I couldn't ask you to do that for me..." He insisted.

The wolfman snorts.
"I do it for me...sharing is what weres do ..its a pack thing. No pack..I gotta share with someone.."

Solstice smiled. "I... I guess if that's true I suppose I can act as a stand in..." He said with a mild nervousness.

George grins a big toothy grin.
"Awesome. I love to feed people. Come on then, I'll cook you some breakfast ,..scrambled eggs and wild mushrooms."

He stands, his full height evident now. A good foot taller than his humam form. Waging his tail, he looks around.

"ah....shit...pants..."

Solstice's face turned pink. "Ah yes- that is a mild problem- Ummm..." He looked around for anything to use as a suitable covering.

If a wolf could look sheepish, George does.
"....my keys are in my pants."

Solstice got even more worried. "Where did you lose your pants?"

"...one the way..to that womans place. Took them off, so I didmt tear them."
He shrugs.
"I suppose I can break in. Not the first time Ive lost them."

Solstice shook his head. "I'm sure I can find them-" He insisted

The shaggy head nods.
"please...Id rather not destroy another lock."

Solstice got up. "Ok. Lets go back to where you last had them and hope no one took the keys." He said.

"Good plan....um...lead the way..or I'm back trailing by sniffing the ground." He has the grace to looked awkward about that.
"...I think thats something you might find ..embarrassing or something.."

"I can retrace our steps. But keep that on the back burner in case I forget. Ok?" He didn't seem to put off by it, but in the same breath perhaps not to eager to see it.

George nods, happy with thst.
"Thank you...again. Time to hunt the Pants"

"Yes- truly the most evasive of prey." He said and began walking back the way they came.

The wolfman laughs and follows

Solstice continued to walk back, worried any moment the siren from before would come at him with a brick or something.

Smelling the fear pheromones, and twigging to the cause, George rumbles quietly.
"...you got a bit of cloth or something? I can stick some in my ears...or .." And he sounds excited as he thinks of it. "..or you could magic me deaf for a bit!"

As Solstice decides, George continues, following a thought down.
"...uh..so, what happened to your world.?"

Solstice sighed softly. "I think you've had enough spells cast on you for one day... Plus I'm not sure her magic will work on you in wolf form..." He explained hesitantly.

But he paused for a long while, debating internally about what to say. "My... My home... Was destroyed years ago... and it was all my fault... I failed my duty... And so they all died..." He covered his face with a hand and began to cry.

"Oh fuck!"
George stops.
"Shit man..I'm really sorry. Just...just..":
Concerned, his first instinct is to hug, but he's worked out thats not a thing people welcome always...so...he casts about looking, and finds a bus stop with bench.
"Sit...just, sit and let it out, ok..."
Once he gets Solstice seated, he crouches down .
"So..whats this about it being your fault? Thats a lot of shite to take on man?"

The fae man sad, heavy with guilt and sorrow. "I had no other job than to protect them. And I failed. The only person who's fault it could be is me! I have no right to continue to live..." He sobbed.

"Protect who? From what?"
Damn..this explained a lot...and, yeah...not protecting pack, that would be terrible.

"Another kingdom invaded mine... Burned it all to the ground..." he mumbled.

"..and, uh, how where you, alone, supposed to stop That? Seems a lot of responsibility should ly on the invaders, and, maybe what ever army you people had?"

Solstice looked away. "I can't expect you to understand the intricacies of Fae dealings..." He said, feeling the urge to curl up and vanish

"Try me." Sympathetic yellow beast eyes look at him.

"I don't think screaming is gonna help me... I just want to curl up in a hole until the sun burns out..." He mumbled.

The wolfman snorted."It was a metaph..fpore"
He reached out, tentatively, to put a hand on Solstices shoulder.
"Please dont go away..you saved me from being eaten, slowly, alive...no ones saved me from anything before."

Solstice glanced at the hand on his shoulder but made no effort to remove it. It was comforting in a way must touch has stopped being a long time ago. "Well... That's funny because you're the first person I've ever managed to save.." He mumbled, a weak smile on his face.

"First means there can be more..."

Solstice started to cry again. He fiddled with his hands like he wasn't sure what to do with them.

George took his hands in his large furred ones.
"Its alright....this the first time you've really let yourself think about it?".

Solstice squeezed the wolfman's hands a little and looked down in shame. But he nodded. His shoulders trembled as he tired and failed to fight back his sobs. "I'm so sorry..." He whispered.

"...I'm sure they would ..they ..know.."
He straightened a bit.
"Look..Forget my bloody pants and keys. Not like I cant get a new lock again. You Need food. You ate hardly anything yesterday."

Solstice let his posture slump a bit. "It's ok. I'm used to it... I can wait the time it takes to find your keys..." He insisted, not wanting to burden the other anymore than he already had, but feeling like outright refusal would be seen as rude, and he did truly want to go.

The wolfman waves that away.
"Fah..I'm used to it too. And I'm hungry.  Common"

Solstice sighed, but smiled and stood, letting himself be led. "If you insist..." He spoke softly.

"I Do! Seriously, fuck the keys...I want eggs."

He leads them down the streets, to get, eventually, to the Bellhaven Paradise Van Park, arriving much the same time as dawn.

His motorhome is surrounded by a garden patch, chicken coop, and some drying racks.
"My casa...your casa." he rumbles as he fusses with the lock, breaking the thing carefully.

Solstice watched the lock crumble. "I probably could've made an entry spell..." He mumbled belatedly.

"...oh..."
He looks at the broken lock in his paw, then shrugs. "I'd probably have to change it anyway...lost keys."

Entering the motorhome, and turning on the lights, they are met with an untidy, but cosy room. A pile of laundry in the corner awaiting washing, several empty spirit bottles, plus one half full, and a nest of blankets and pillows on the bed attest to living alone. Drying herbs, bottled preserves, wildflowers in empty spirits bottles, a table with leather work in progress, and a basket of eggs turn it from somewhat depressing into something more comfortable.

Once in the space, the wolfman looked even bigger, as he had to hunch a bit to avoid hitting the light fixtures.

Waving a shaggy hand at a bench seat along the vehicles side wall, he started digging around in the pile of laundry.
"Make yourself at home, just let me find some pants, and Ill change and fix breakfast."

Solstice nodded and sat down, a prim and proper fae in amongst all the clutter, but he couldn't be more pleased. He hadn't been in an environment so relaxed and homey in so long. His wings, previously held stiff and alert, started to droop in a comfortable way. He could smell the herbs and they smelled divine, grown with love and care. He felt an inescapable smile grow across his face and he let himself lounge across the seating like a greedy fae of old.

Finding satisfactory pants, the wolfman starts to slowly contort, then  remembers his guests shyness and sense of properness.
"Uh...this is the bit you might want to not watch...I gotta get human before i get dressed."
Shrinking and absorbing hair back into skin...thats just freaky..George is finally human passing again. Pulling jeans on, he then finger combs his hair and heads over to the kitchen nook.
"Rightio Scrambled eggs time. Seriously, changing takes a lot out of me. Always eating....Id be fat as a hippo if i wasnt a were.."

Solstice looked away respectfully as the wolf-man changed back to a full man, focusing instead out a nearby window.

When George returned he greeted him with a smile. "I hope you aren't under too much stress, if you'd rather have a nap that's fine with me." He insisted.

Cracking eggs into a bowl, George replies.
"Nah...Not stressing at all. I love cooking, especially if I'm feeding more than just me. How many eggs will you want?"
Working on the food, he bustles around the small space, pulling things out of small cupboards. Energetic, even after a long night, he really does seem happy as a lark.
Noticeable though, as he hasn't bothered with a shirt, are several old circular scars on his back.

Solstice was respectfully checking the other man out, finding that he was intrigued by all the scars and the rugged appearance. Then he realized he was asked a question and his face burned a little. "Oh- Two please." He said with a nervous smile.

"...three it is then..you need feeding up."
Soon the aroma of eggs and fresh mushrooms fills the home.
Laying out a coupe of plates, he cuts up a couple of apples and puts them on the small table.
"Right..eat some of these while in the meantime."

Solstice watched as the apples were cut, eyes big and bright. It had been ages since he had even seen fresh fruit let alone tasted it. His wings gave a happy flutter as he picked up one of the fruit slices and took a bite, trying to be somewhat dainty at first, but as the sweet flavors exploded over his tongue he gave that up, crunching down the fruit with ferocity that would rival the were's own.

He managed not to make a mess but it was clear the fae man had been rather underfed for a while. And given the nature of fae creatures to frequently eat large amounts of sweet and decadent foods, this was especially bad.

Wide eyed with surprise, he stared, he'd never seen Solstice do anything with a passion.
"..uh..right, more apples next time."
Then, with a grin, he started dishing the food. "Its not ah lah cart, but it Is straight from outside, no chemicals, no processing, just Real food."
A delightful smell came off the dish placed in front of the Fae.
George sat opposite with a much larger serving, and started to eat with his own natural gusto.
Then paused, fork hovering. "..Thank you again..seriously, not just for saving my arse from a chow down, but...because you're trusting me. That feels real ..nice.."

Solstice smiled at him, somehow managing to look elegant after shoveling fruit into his face. "I'm glad you trust me as well... And care enough to help me..." He mumbled, moving to the eggs next and taking a bite. "Delicious!" He praised.

"You really Can smile and relax. Who knew."
After a few moments eating he speaks again, looking at the tavle.
"......its, Im a werewolf..we, I care a lot about everything..its in our nature to have big emotions. All the fucking time really...can make thinks hard."

"Maybe I could learn a thing or two from that... I spent most of my entire life learning how to make myself smaller for the benefit of others... Perhaps it's time I finally learn how to be big..." He mumbled.

George smiles gently. "Well, you're smart, spent the night out in the dark with wild beast, so you're brave, thus, not actually small, and theres no one here to be small for, so...be big, if you want. be you."
Gentle brown eyes watched the fae, to see how he took that. Solstice could be very touchy about all sorts of things.With him finally looking happy, George didnt want to take that happiness away with more stupid words.

Solstice chuckled. "I feel like those first two points counter each other... But thank you... I will be big, or at least try..." He said with a soft smile.

George grins. "Well, thats what brave is..being smart enough to know its stupid, but doing it anyway."
Then he sighs.
"I'm sorry...I was a bit of a dick."

"What? No- You're perfectly fine." He insisted.

"I played with you, to embarrass you, cause I thought it was ..cute to see you squirm.." He pushes the remains of his eggs around the plate.
"that was pretty dickish.."

"I deserved it." He mumbled, too quickly and without any conviction.

"What? For being anxious and worried about everything..you deserved to be picked on? Bullshit" Then he smirks. "Well..maybe a little for being a little fussy about some things.."

"No no... I deserved it... Completely..." He looked down at his empty plate.

Looking up he lifts an eyebrow.
"Is this a game of whos the worst now? Why do you get to win?"

"I don't know..." He mumbled.

"mmmm"
he looks thoughtful.
"perhaps....you just want someone else to tell you that your terrible, punish you, and make you small, so you can really wallow in guilt and self hate"

Solstice stayed quiet.

George finished his eggs, silently. Letting the fae sit and muse.
Them taking the plates, he stood, put them in a small sink and  turned to Solstice.
"Right. You ..Are..Overtired, full of food, and getting sad now. SO.." He pointed to the bed pile.
"You..go to sleep. I wont try anything. I'll go outside to weed or something."

"That's probably for the best..." He agreed passively and stood, walking over to the bed before sitting on it.

"ok..alright, I'll ask..whats got you all in a blue funk...really?"
George glared at the fae.
"You're acting all small...stop it..and tell me."

He shrugged slightly. "I just have a lot of feelings I'm not sure how to deal with... But... This is helping..." He said with a weak smile.

George smiled at that.
"Well...that makes sense then."
Big emotions he knew.
"Go lie down, try to sleep, and the biggest one will settle in. You'll either sleep or work it out..."
Not strictly the truth, but, hey, maybe helpful.

Solstice laid down and tried to get comfortable. It was easy in the rather indulgent nest.

Watching him settle back and nest, George indulged himself a little, and enjoyed the sight of the fae nesting in his bed. Wings delicate and beautiful. Pale skin bright against the dark bedding.....

"Right..well then..um..Ill be outside weeding.... Call out if you need anything."
With sightly reddened cheeks, he grabbed up an old hat and turned to stop staring, and go outside.

Solstice smiled and nodded. "Have fun... Take good care of the plants." He said and curled up under the covers.

Outside George let the morning sun warm his skin. The heat was delicious.

...kind of like the fae man in his bed right now.

Good for me..I Didn't try anything. Good wolf.
Stretching and yawning in the sunlight, he wandered over to his garden and crouched down in it, looking for weeds. Small insect pests either got relocated, or, occasionally, eaten, as he moved through his plants.

It felt good, being out here, with the green things, someone asleep in his den. With him to keep them safe...even if there wasn't really anything about threatening right now.

Like having a small pack at his back again. Looking after chickens and plants was nice enough...but, really, looking after people was nicer.

Standing, he rubbed his lower back. Then waved over at his neighbor Mrs Grant. Who always seemed to think it a good time for a cup of tea and a magazine on her little porch, when he was gardening shirtless. He didn't mind showing off for her. He knew he was pretty fine, and a bit vain about it, but, hey..who was he hurting.

"Fine day for it Mrs Grant."
"Yes indeed love. very fine."
They both laughed, and he went back to the weeding.

A white van idles outside the Bellhaven Paradiso Caravan Park.

In the shadow of the cabins interior a slim, sharp nailed hand flips a drivers license around and around. Taken from  a wallet, found in a pair of abandoned jeans.

Solstice took a long rest, wings flicking occasionally as he breathed deeply.

Outside, George continued gardening. Feeding chickens, and just generally enjoying the morning.

Wandering up the small lane between plots, Eli spotted her prey.

"Ahhh....there you are.." she muttered to herself, and put on a cheerful bounch in her step.

"Hey, Shaggy boy, Where did you go? I waited up.."

George looked up at the lilting tones.
"ahhh...hi Eli.."

She walked up and held out his wallet.
"I wnet looking for you...found this, thought I should return it."
He stared at it like it was a snake.
"...uhh..." Shit, fucking idiots.
"Why did you leave, I was looking forward to ..well..." She touches his chest with one nailed finger and smiles seductively.
Her voice wound its way into him. He so wanted to answer her , make her happy.
" we..ahh...the moon...I, um wolfed..and..forgot..."
Nice save...yeah...dont let her know...oh gods her eyes....

"oh, I see..well.."
So, wolf forms might be more immune ehh..good to know.
"..well, since you missed out on dinner last night, perhaps lunch today?"
She traced her nail down his chest, and upped the power in her voice.
"Uh...but..but..you were going to eat me..." He really wanted to go with her. So pretty, so ...
"What? Oh...I see..you thought...?" She laughed."I was being all seductive and stuff honey...it was all just figurative." My arse.
"...oh...." George felt stupid. Of course it was just flirting, she could Never Eat anyone..what had they been thinking?
"...so, lunch at my place then?"
"yeah!..oh..wait..I have.." Cant tell her about Solstice..a small, scared part of him, still fighting her influence cried out. "....Gardening to finish"
"it can wait, you need a break..." She stretched up and kissed him.

"Sure!"

She took his hand, mindless of the dirt, and they walked off, George entirely forgetting anything, or anyone, else.

Solstice slept for a little while longer before waking up. He sat up and stretched. "Hmmm... Good morning George... George...?" He looked around.

No George replied.
No sounds outside except some tiny radio song from a neighbor.

Solstice jumped up, suddenly fully awake. "Shit! Shitshitshit! I knew I shouldn't have slept! Fuck!" He ran outside, looking around franticly.

All he can find is Georges licensee, on the grass.

He picked up, looking at it for some sort of clue.

An older lady, sitting on the small porch of a caravan home, waved.
"Hi Dear. You a friend of Mr Solly? Good to see his with people."

He startled. "Um- Yes. He's a friend of mine... I fell asleep and now I can't find him-!" He was starting to panic. 'The one time I relax someone literally dies!' He thought.

"Oh, well I'm sure he'll be back soon." She sipped her tea.
"He just went off with a pretty girl. Flirting madly she was." She laughed.
"But, he didn't bother with a shirt or shoes, so, I imagine she just played him so he'd go and lift heavy things for her. Hes a good boy for that.. Shouldn't take long, I'm sure."

Solstice felt like hid heart might stop. "Wait what!?"

"Went off to help some young girly, seemed more than happy to help." She looks thoughtful.
"...come to think of it, I havnt seen her in the park before..."

"Which way did they go!?" Solstice asked, voice full of alarm.

The older lady points down the lane. Towards the park entrance.
"Off that way. Why, whats the problem love?"

"She's trouble. Deadly kinda trouble!" The fae said, looking almost ready to faint from his panic.

"Oh...well...." She puts down her tea, clearly concerned.
"Thats no good at all. He's not very bright, sorry love, but its true. Can I help?"

"Not unless you secretly know a way to counter Siren magic..." He said, shaking now.

She thinks a moment, tapping her teeth.
"Wellll..in the myths, it was wax in the ears...I imagine anything that stops hearing would do it? or maybe Very loud noise?"

Then she frowns and bites her nails. "And....I suppose, a gun would do the jobbie quite permanently..."

He tensed. "I... You want me to shoot her?" He asked.

"No honey, I really dont, but, you did ask what things might be effective."
She gave Solstice a stern look then
"...but, you did ask, and, well, If its life or death, as you imply, ..better her than you or Mr Sully, in my opinion."

The fae man looked away. "I... I need to find him-" He mumbled, turning away.

"You can borrow my car dear."
Mrs Grant pulls a set of keys from her pocket, and tosses them over.

He caught them. "Thank you miss- I- I don't know what to say!" He looked at her.

"Mrs Grant, love...and dont say anything, just get going, you have our friend to save."

Solstice nodded, feeling determined and he ran to the car.

As Solstice drives, morning traffic starts hitting the roads, traffic that just seems to be slow when he wants to go fast. Lights that seem to turn red, just as he gets to them

Inside the seafoam green house of Eli

"Lets grab a shower shaggy boy, you're a little dirty from the garden."
She leads her prey to her bathroom."I'll scrub your back."
"Sounds fun." The entranced George grabs her as she giggles, and kisses her. Taking his hand, she drags him into the shower.
"Oh...delectable..." As she nips his lip.
"Owe!"
"mmmmm,mmmm..a problem my sweet?" Her voice tells him there's no problem at all, even if there's a little blood.
"no..just, spicy.."

Solstice growled, feeling as if he could fly faster than this.

"ummmmm...the waters very...red..."

"Thats why the shower is on silly..."

"......arrghhhhh...my ear!..."

"shhhhhhhhhh.."

After a seeming eternity, though probably only 15 minutes or so, Solstice turns into Elis street, old tyres squealing in protest a tiny bit.

Solstice went as fast as he dared down the road, slamming on the breaks in front of the house and jumping out of the car.

Everything about seems fine. Couple of kids paying in a garden down the street. Some music is playing somewhere.

The white van followed last night is parked outside in the drive. All appears quiet calm.

Solstice ran up to door and tried to open it, hoping it wasn't locked.

Rattling at the door, he finds that unfortunately it is locked. Nothing special, just a simple house lock. But still...locked.
A look around reveals that a side window is open for the morning breezes.

As Solstice is looking and checking, he hears a noise from inside..possibly a male scream of pain?

Solstice saw the open windown and flew through it, looking around for the sorce

Inside, its clean, and tidy. House plants dotted here and there, and a number of fish tanks in the visible rooms. The TV is playing a horror film. Perhaps the source of the scream?

Then, over the TV, a feminine giggle can be heard from deeper in the house, followed by a quieter male groan. Hard to tell if pain or pleasure.

In the back of the house, in the bathroom, the giggle stops, as Eli props Geroge against the shower wall, when he faints.
"Ooooooops....a little too much...." She murmurs to herself.
"Now Im stuck with you in my shower. Couldn't you have had the decency to walk out first.."
She washes blood off her face in the sink, then starts rinsing everything down.

Solstice can hear her muttering and water running. Coming from the rear of the house.

Solstice ran towards the sound, fire sparking from his hands and licking up his arms. He had little control over it in his rage.

Busting into the Bathroom, the Furious fae surprises the siren.
Wrapped in a bathrobe, she falls back against the towel rack with a scream of alarm. Shes been cleaning up after her meal.
Her meal, sits unconscious in the shower, bite marks evident on arms, legs, and theres a lot of blood coming from one side of his head.

"You bitch!" He roared, shoving her with his flame covered hands before winding up for a hell of a punch.

"The fuck??" Pushed by flaming hands, her robe saves her skin. But he robe starts to smolder.
"Who the fuck are you?"
Scales starts to form, teeth and nails grow long, and she prepares to leap on her attacker.

opposed die roll...both at base d6 as both just physical attacks.....erk...the flames discombobulate her, and she rolls a 2.}

"I'm the worst thing to ever happen to you!" He yelled and shot fire from his hands at her.

Leaping towards him, her hair catches fire.
She barrels into him screaming. A screech-wordless, but powerful.
shatters all the glass
in the room.

Glass showers down from light fittings, mirrors, shower screens and bottles.
Her claws go to her hair, even as her charge knocks them both down.

In the shower of water and glass, George starts awake confused, wet and hurt. The noise defining to his wolf ears.


Solstice takes no damage as she rolled so badly, but both are now on the ground, in the mess.

Solstice cried out as shards of glass dug into his sensitive wings. He punched and kicked at her with all he strength he could muster in such a compromised position.

Her scales protected her from the worst of his rolling onslaught, and the glass. Still,an elbow to the nose was rewarded with a spray of dark blood. Fury took her as she screamed in pain.
The talons on her toes scored sharply down Solstices thigh as she scrambled free. Putting out the last of the fire in her hair with the ruined bathrobe, she dragged herself up n the sink.
Closing her eyes briefly, she breathed heavily once, then
Screamed.
The piercing sound echoed around the tiles, almost visible.

A deep rumbling edged in on that screech, and she stops, and shows her teeth at Solstice. A grin of challenge and malignant glee.

Holding his hands against his head, trying to shut out all the noise, George stands, ignoring the glass cutting his feet. Too many other, deeper wounds, already screaming at him.

Taking in the chaos, he makes out two struggling figures through hazed senses....
"..Ultraviolet?..what?"
He staggers forward, muttering. "...Cant change..cant change.." Even as all his wolf instincts scream at him to.

The rumbling, compared to the screaming, is almost soothing when it starts...

Solstice covered both ears with his hands to block out the sound. He looked fearful before he saw George rise. Then with renewed determination his fire lit again, consuming his hands as his wings shifted from a dull orange to bright red before bursting into flames as well. This didn't hurt him and the temperature of the room started to climb sharply, water quickly starting to evaporate near him. George was spared the brunt of the heat as he willed it at the siren. The only reason he didn't throw everything at is is that if the house went up in smoke and fire, he feared for the wolfman's safety.

The siren screamed in pain as the wall of heat hit her. Her scales could protect her from direct flame, and glass, but not the rising heat.

As the room filled with steam, the rumbling intensified. Suddenly all the taps and pipes exploded in waves of frigid water. The smell of brine enveloped everything as the sea came to her call.

Knocked back by a wave of mystic ocean, Georges hands came away from his head, allowing him to hear her screams again.
Grimacing in pain, both physical and the pull of her anger, he stands and growls. Again he resists changing. It would help heal, but, while teeth sharpen in response to danger, he forces his body to stay human.
"...not going to let you get top me..."
Snatching a toothbrush from the mess of water, he jams it hard enough into one ear, to rupture the eardrum.
A howl of pain joins the rush of water and screaming siren.

Solstice cried out in alarm as the cold water doused his flames. But they didn't go out and soon the water boiled and steamed off him as the temperature continued to climb higher. The sound of George in pain caused rage to flare within him and he tackled the siren in a ball of flame and a surge of boiling water.

Her hair caught fire again. Calling the ocean had helped , but the Faes fury powered the fire enough to overcome her fear and self preservation powering her water.
She screamed out at George.
"Fucking kill him!!"

Solstice grabbed her around the neck with his flame covered hands and slammed her back.

Her screams turned guttural, and hatred flashed in her eyes as her head cracked against the tiles. Her clawed hands ripped savagely at his arms as she struggled to free herself, water receding as she put all into her desperate fight.

Solstice could only take so much of the claws before he pulled away and held his bleeding arm. He looked at her and growled.

Holding her neck, she staggers forward, matching his growl.
Pointing at him with a shaking hand she pitches her voice just so. And clearly not recognizing him from the bar.

"Just fuck off out of here, who ever the fuck you are. Not Your Business!."

Solstice growled, but his strength was beginning to fail as he pretty rapidly lost blood.

She said to leave...leaving seemed like it might be a good idea. Perhaps he should just grab George and leave. Come back later...

As the Sirens words tried to force him out, a sudden smash of water hit his face. George, snarling, but still human, crashed into the woman, sending them both down into the swirling waters.

Solstice wanted to leave, to get George to safety, but there would be no safety if she wasn't dealt with. He winced at the water that was slowly being stained with his own orange tinted blood.

A clawed hand grabs his ankle as Eli drags herself out of the water, and hisses in his face, before biting at his nose.

He let out a scream of pain and pushed what was left of his strength at her with one last flaming attack.

As her snapping teeth almost reach their goal, her face explodes into flame.

Solstice collapsed like a sack of bricks as his energy left him.

The Sirens twitching corpse fell into the water next to him.

Solstice managed to get his head above water so he didn't drown, but he was still bleeding pretty badly. "George..." He whispered.

As the water recedes he can hear splashing nearby. Turning around he spots George staggering up, and looking around desperately. Spotting the fae, he splashes forward.
"Ultrviolet!"

Solstice slowly pulled himself up. "George... Are you ok...?" He asked, voice soft from his exhaustion.

Grabbing Solstice in a huge hug, pulling the Fae to standing, howls out.
"You're ok? Please be alright!!"

Solstice reached out to gently pat the wolfman on the nose before promptly passing out.

The were blinks in surprise, then catches the falling fae man as everything goes black for Solstice.

Everything is dark and quiet. Peaceful....

Warm hands move his arm carefully, applying something damp, stinging something there enough to break the peace..
Edging toward wakefulness brings a blinding headache, forcing Solstice back into the dark.

Some time later, impossible to tell how long, Solstices peace was again broken. This time by a gentle shake, and a low voice.

"Hey...come on, wake up a bit..I made soup..."

At the word soup, the smell of a beef broth fills the faes senses. While most of him may want to keep sleeping, his stomach has words to say about that..in the form of a deep empty rumble.

Solstice let out a low groan as he was finally roused from sleep. There was a deep ache in his core from tapping into power stores left untouched for many years. His eyes slowly fluttered open and when he saw George a slow smile stretched across his face. "George... You're ok..." He whispered, reaching out to touch his face, to make sure.

A look of relief crossed Georges face, when Solstice finally woke properly enough to speak. Closing exhausted eyes, he rolls his head into the faes hand.
"I was worried you werent going to wake up. its been 3 days."

"Three days...?" He asked softly. "Did you sleep at all?" He softly pet the wolfman.

George sighs tiredly and sits to lean against the bed, enjoying the patting..
"I...cant actually hear you...haven't healed properly yet."

Solstice slowly forced himself to sit up and reached out with his healing magic.

The magic curled around the were, but, something prevented it from acting.
Something malignant seems to push against it.

Solstice frowned deeply, thinking that George had been cursed in some way.

"What are you doing?" Muzzy with exhaustion, George tasted magic. Its a swirling green flavour. Too much power in and around him the last few days seem to be confusing the wolf in him.
".....you should have some soup...." Stick to the basics, he thought. Feed the pack, and Then worry about magic things.

Solstice gently pet his hair before accepting the offering of soup. Maybe it'll help.

Drinking fresh made beef broth, Solstice is able to look around and take in more.
His wounds have been cleaned and bandaged. And there's a bottle of medical disinfectant on the table.
Some of Georges wounds have been bandaged as well, though not as neatly. One ear seems to be...well, there's a flat bandage on that side of his head. The smaller cuts and bites have scabbed, but while more healthy than they would be on a human, they still look angry.

Solstice smiled sadly at the state of George. "You poor thing... I'm sorry I didn't get there sooner..." He mumbled.

"What? ..cant hear you properly."
He smiled as if it doesn't really matter.
"...." About to say something more he yawns and shakes his head to stay awake.
"..sorry...been awake a bit.."

"Go to sleep." He told the other, making sure to speak up, enunciate his words clearly and keep the message simple. "I will be fine." He added.

With another huge yawn, George stretched and settled down to lean against the bed.
"I dont know what you said exactly..but i think it involved sleeping..thats a...terrifically good idea.."

He smiled softly and nodded, moving so the other could comfortably settle. "Good, thank you." He said softly.

Taking the shift as invitation onto his bed, George gets on and lies down, sighs deeply, then without even thinking curls around Solstice and is asleep in moments.

Solstice just smiles fondly and pets the other man before drifting back to sleep himself.

After an intermediate time Solstice is stirred into wakefulness buy a light touch on his wings.
"...beautiful....." As the word is whispered, the touch causes wings to twitch involuntarily.
"Shit!"
The bed shifts suddenly as weight leaves it.
"Sorry. Sorry..I..didnt ..I wasnt..just..oh shit."

George crouched on the floor, eyes screwed shut. red faced back to Solstice.

Solstice slowly pealed his eyes open and looked at George. He smirked a little, a bit of snark leaking into his sleepy mind. "You know the touching of wings is a courtship ritual, right?" He asked playfully.

"what?"
He shook his head, and glanced at Solstice, unwilling to look him in the eye.
"..still cant hear well...but...if you said courtship...oh god...I didnt mean to ..well..i yes..but..I disgust you. Im really sorry."

Solstice sat up. "No- no! You're fine. I... I think you're very sweet..." He blushed a bit.

"...Really? ..Maybe..."
He looks at the floor.

"...I really like you. But, I am were..and lick things, smell things..and just generally get dirty without thinking about it.."

He scratches at a healing bite.
"Ive been human too long..brains full of stupid....But..you're Pack now. Havnt had pack in forever... "

Solstice blushed brightly and hugged him close. "It's ok to transform now..." He pet him.

George stiffened, then breathed deeply and relaxed into the embrace. So good to be held by pack again.

".....You might want to let go, and turn away...I need room, and got to lose the clothes again."

Solstice nodded and let go, giving the wolfman room and looking away respectfully.

After a moment the stretching and crackling noises of rearranging bones and muscles indicated change.
"Im good now."
Georges huge wolfman form fulled the room.
"...eh...I think thats going to sort my hearing..."

Yellow eyes flashed along with a toothy grin.
"...Id definitely like to touch your wings..." Embarrassment seemed to have dissipated along with human form.

Solstice blushed deeply. "I... I'll allow it... once." He agreed and laid down.

Crouching next to the bed, George tentatively reached out a claw tipped finger, and gently brushed it down one wing.
"....so....pretty...Ultraviolet." He growled softly.

His wing twitched slightly at the contact. He his his blushing face in the pillow.

"Does it tickle?" Curiosity coloured the question, as he continued stroking Solstices wings, entranced.

He took a deep breath to gather himself. "In a sense, I suppose" He replied vaguely, beginning to get comfortable and sleepy.

Slowly touching, and still curious, George asks another quiet question.
"You can fly ...I havent seen you do that though.but.Could you...Please open them right up?"

His sleepy mind wasn't fully sure what the other meant so he fully spread his wings as much as he could in his current position.

"....so...beautiful."
George just stared at them. fully entranced at the colours and wonder.

They were mostly orange and red but with a splash of yellow here and there and some pinkish undertones.

The wolfman stared in wonder for a while. then..with a huff of hot breath sat back.
"I dont have wings....mmmm..."
Giving them a last careful stroke he stepped away.
"...I'll be back very soon."
Shifting to full wolf he pushed open the door and left, back leg kicking the door shut behind him.

Solstice suddenly felt lonely after the tender moment. But he pushed those feelings down and waited patently.

A short time later, the door is pushed open.
Wolf George enters, carrying a paper bag in his jaws, after a few thumps at the door-wolf paws not the best at opening doors.
Trotting over he drops it on the bed, then shifts back to half form.
"...sorry. I dont have wings. But, our rituals involve bringing favorite prey. Since I dont think a dead rabbit is your sort of thing..."

Inside the bag is a whole lot of fresh picked blackberries.

Solstice's eyes widened. "I- That's so sweet of you- I... I don't know what to say-" Tears were in his eyes.

"....oh.....dont say anything...just eat them?"
George tilts his head in confusion.
"why are you sad?"

"These are happy tears, you adorable man-" He pulled him into a hug.

George relishes the hug for a bit then growls softly.
"if they make you happy, then eat one."
He pulls back a bit to look at Solstice.
"...because I'd really like to taste one on you lips..."

Solstice blushed. "Is that a promise to kiss me or lick me?" He asked softly before picking up some berries and eating a few.

With a wicked gleam, he answers.
"Well....I can do both..."
He leans over the fae man.
"...but I might change first...get a little less shaggy..."

Solstice blushed so deeply his entire face was a deep red. "I... I see..."

"...eyes shut, and you wont.." He laughed. Then turned around, and shifted down. Strange sussurations filled the room as hair retreats, and form shrinks a bit.

Turning back, not at all embarrassed by his nakedness, not even thinking about it, he sits on the bed. Leaning over, he takes the fae mans face between gentle hands.
"You look delicious."
And kisses blackberry lips softly, tasting juice and fae.

Solstice had shut his eyes. At the comments he blushed a bit again and once he was kissed he tilted his head slightly to deepen it with a little tremble that even met the tips of his wings.

Taking his time, George savored every sensation and tremble. With a slight parting nibble on Solstices lower lip, he pulled back just enough to lock intense eyes with the faes.
"...I was right...you Are delicious..."

He was left panting slightly, eyes glowing a deep orange as they shared this moment. "You too..."

"Clean living" George laughed.
Then leaned in, and gently whispered into Solstices ear. "Can I taste more?" And grazed lips and teeth along his neck.

He swallowed thickly and nodded, trembling again. He was content to just let things happen but felt awkward just sitting there.

Working tongue and lips down Solstices neck, George lay down beside Solstice and reached out to stroke fluttering wings.
Murmured small growling became the words. "....do you like this?"

Solstice hid his face and looked away, but nodded. He looked pretty flustered, his wings twitching and flicking.

"Well then.."
Teeth grazed the back of Solstices neck, down to the base of his wings.
"You smell like cinnamon and electricity."

"C-careful- My wings are s-sensitive. They won't hold up to those teeth-!" He cautioned.

Hot breath between Solstices wings accompanied the next words. "No teeth. Got it."
Lips kissed the base of each wing, then a hot tongue traced back from there to the nape of his neck. Paused, letting cool air heighten the warmth.
"Gods you are beautiful."
Rolling he crushed the fae to him, and kissed him far more hungrily than before.

Solstice hid his face in the pillow as his wings were teased to muffle his noises. But once he was moved he just clung to the pillow as he kissed back. He pulled back to breathe and smiled. "You're a great kisser..." He whispered, not knowing what else to say.

Licking his lips, George grinned. "And I make a mean minestrone!"
Laugjing, he rolled onto his back, pulling Solstice over, till the fae way lying half on top of him.
"...so...you say Im sweet, and kiss well. I also can cook...,look fine, and  havnt got two brain cells to rub together...wanna keep me?"

Solstice reached up to gently play with a lock of hair. "Only if you don't mind keeping me as well." He joked.

Brown eyes flashed gold for a moment. Then, with a growl George pulled Solstice down.
"Mine."
Breathing became somewhat difficult, as lips and gentle teeth stole any chance at getting air for a short while.

Solstice let out a soft keen as he was kissed, quickly coming to his senses and returning the passion just as strongly. He flared his wings out wide, a silent invitation to touch.

Eyes widened at the display.
"...damn..."
He reached up and very slowly ran his hand from base, along the edge to the fluttering tip.

Solstice gasped softly, arching his back into the touch and shuttering. His lips parted slightly as he let out a soft exhale.

George watched, eyes half closed, adoring that reaction.

Then he teased fingers down Solstices side. Hitting the hindrance of pants, he stroked the skin just exposed above them. Then placed his hand firmly on the faes thigh, a mischievous glint in his eyes.

Leaning in he licked at the navel in front of him.

Grinning he lay back. Fingers still on wings glided over their gossamer surface. Magic. Delightful, delicious, and magic.

His wings twitched and flicked with every bolt of pleasure. He pressed into the little teasing touches, letting out a bark of laughter at the tickling lick.

Running his hand up Solstices thigh, he reached the waistband again. Warm fingers slid under, running along the faes hip bone.
"Too much clothing..."

Solstice smirked a bit, biting his lip. "Maybe you'd like to fix that for me. Hm?" He teased.

"Grrrrrrrrr....."
Grinning and growling playfully, he flipped Solstice over to his side..careful of wings, grabbed at the waistband with teeth and tugged.

"Don't you rip my pants-" He warned, not too keen on having his favorite pants trashed.

Laughing, George used a head to undo fastenings, and continued to tug with teeth, until the pants, unripped, ended up on the floor.

Solstice smiled fondly and pet him with a gentle touch. "Good boy." He praised.

Sliding along Solstices now naked body, George rolls to his side, relishing the touch. "More ..dont stop.."

He didn't, but kept his touch gentle and light, curling in on himself, suddenly a little shy.

"mmmmmmmmnice"
He leaned in to lick and nibble Solstice while running hands over his skin. Worshiping the fae with his touch.

Then pulled back a bit at Solstices growing shyness. Giving him a light kiss he asked softly.
"..so...i should ask..is this ..uh...new to you?"

Solstice bit his lip, trying to come up with a convincing lie but they all fell short, so instead he gave the truth. "This..." He gestured vaguely. "-is as far as I've ever gotten..." He mumbled, looking down in shame.

George cupped solstices face in one hand, and gently lifted his head to look him in the eyes.
"Hey..." With a smile he gently licked the faes nose.
"..I'm honored that you're here then..."
Then pulled solstice to him and kissed him deeply.

Solstice blushed deeply before returning the kiss. His wings twitched and shivered, catching the light just so.

"So....let me tell you about my first time." He whispered, and nuzzled at the faes ear.
"..high school...she was several grades higher..."
He traced his tongue down Solstices neck slowly.
"under bleachers..."
Hot breath blew on the faes pale nipple.
"..i was in heaven...first time she was sooooo everything.."
He circled his tongue around his target.
"...less than 3 strokes in..."
Then kissed and teased that nipple while his other hand reached out to stroke a shimmering wing.
"... I came..."
Teeth grazed nipple.
"..and howled like a wolf....never lived that down."

Solstice hid his face in his hands and took shuttering breaths as he tried to stay quiet under all the pleasure he was feeling. He was trembling like crazy and had his jaw clenched.

Georges free hand moved down the faes side, tracing nails ever so lightly.
a hungry mouth followed, kissing and grazing teeth at every squirm.

He almost fell limp at this, gripping George's shoulders and accidently digging his nails in.

George gasped at the sting of nails, then almost purred. Kissing one hip, he traced fingers around Solstices navel, then slowly tickled them down, enjoying every twitch and noise he elicited from the fae.

Solstice let out a half wheeze, arching his spine into the touch. He squeezed tighter as he was left tumbling at a loss of that to do but hold on for dear life.

Fingers teased at the root of him. Circling, and toying with light touches letting anticipation of more heighten Solstices reactions and tremblings.  .

"What do you want?" He teased.

He bit his lip to hold back undignified sounds but his fluttering wings betrayed everything anyway. He looked down at him with a pleading expression but didn't dare open his mouth.

"Damn...you're adorable..."
And flicked the tip of Solstices straining hardness with hot tongue.

He let out a choked noise and one hand gripped George's hair while the other dug into the sheets.

Running his thumb up the length , he pressed just where he'd licked. Watching Solstices reactions with a grin, he then followed that thumb with his tongue.

Solstice held on for dear life, trembling and panting. "P-please-" He gasped out.

A toothy grin answered his pleaa, before George took the tip and started teasing with tongue, lips, and grazing of teeth.

Solstice couldn't help himself and his hips twitched upward, drawing a gasp from him.

Pulling away just a little George laughed. "Anyone would think you Want to be eaten by a wolf."
Then he reaches up and stokes one wing, while simultaneously dipping down and taking in Solstice's length as suddenly as he can. Hot and dangerously close to teeth, the the wolf man works his own magic on his fae man.

Solstice lost all composure and cried out in pleasure, head falling back and wings flapping irraticly.

Choosing his time carefully, just when Solstice was panting and nearly senseless, George growled low and long..letting rumbling vibrations finish what he'd brought to that lovely pitch.

Solstice's mouth fell open in a silent scream as his entire body tensed up with pleasure before the tension flooded out of him with a high pitched keen. Then he fell spinelessly backwards.

After a moment, George slide up beside him, and kissed his neck as he lay panting.
"....you liked that, my ultraviolet.."

Solstice nodded, curling up against him. "Amazing..." He mumbled.

Wrapping himself around Solstice, he kissed him deeply again.
"...yes..yes I am...and you are too."

He smiled softly, exhaustion pulling at him. "Love you..." He mumbled into the pillow before drifting off.

"mmmm..wha....oh..." The mumbled words took a moment to penetrate Georges sleepy brain. He stared down at the sleeping fae man, surprised, and full of emotions. Joy and self doubt warred a moment, then he leaned in and kissed an exposed ear gently, so as not to wake Solstice.
"Love you too,...ever since I ..tastesmelt you in the weird memory thing..."

He then felt around for a blanket, and realized it was being slept on. Not wanting to disturb his pack, he slid away a bit, and with a crunching stretch changed.
Furry now, and warmer, he wrapped himself carefully back around Solstice, big enough to fill most of the bed, and warm both of them as they slept.
