I could only go by what was posted. Mrs. Dalton was never named.

If you want her to be Carol, she can be Carol, though it's close enough to Cheryl that it might get confusing. Perhaps Carolyn or Caroline?

I know it's humorous, but she hasn't really done anything to join the club, as it were (i.e. report someone here in town for being supernatural or using magic), and I'm not sure that'd be as satisfying a scene as it might sound.

She'd be able to kick up a fuss, certainly, but she'd just be another Karen-in-the-wild. The police would have to placate her, but she's from out-of-town, so there would be no lasting consequences unless she assaulted someone. If she did, then our characters become the bad guys for doing something fae/were/magical/vampirical to her.

Just saying.

Im going to suggest Veronica. She is well put together with some class class, if rather staid and old fashioned/conservative in style.

Interestingly enough, my Aunt Cheryl had a daughter named Veronica.

Long-time cookbook editor Maria Guarnaschelli passed away earlier this month. She was the guiding hand behind Judy Rogers' Zuni Cafe Cookbook and My Bread by Jim Lahey. She was the mother of Food Network Chef Alex Guarnaschelli.

I would love to have her memorialized in some form at Tutti i Polli, perhaps as 'Mrs. D' (diBenedetto, Guarnaschelli's maiden name), owner and head whip-cracker of the restaurant.
