Hello to everyone, welcome in The Keys of the Otherworld, a game of Mage the Awakening (Second Edition).

The game will be mainly center around Snowdonia, an mountainous region of the County of Gwynedd in northern Wales. The characters will be based in the district of Arfon, on the north Coast, were are the capitol and largest city of Gwynedd.

It will be more about exploration than social challenge. I took inspiration from the Arthur and Celtic mythes. Fate and the Spirits will play a important role in the story.

I will take some elements from Sign of Sorcery (notably the Aedes and Supernal Entities) but the book is not required, I will explain the elements has they come.

If you have question don't hesitate, this thread will serve to any out of rp discussion.

One thing I live in Switzerland (at GMT+1), so depending of where you live my schedule could be weird.

I’d prefer starting as already a cabal (of two but it counts ;P), any problems with that?

...Actually shouldn’t there be three players? Is Trilogy or butter78 the missing one?

Hi,

I'm actually against starting with an established cabal. I've created my character by myself, and a cabal would imply shared points, which I didn't set aside. I'm all for pooling some of our future xp, but as it is I'd be a freerider if we started with a cabal.

Figuring out a cabal would also further delay the start of the game.

I will not be able to launch the game today. Someone made a mistake at my work and i need to clean up the mess.

For the cabal it's like you want. I made it so you can meet but I can adapt my prologue in function.

As in you don’t have any Sanctum or Hallow?

Sorry of the absence. I was busy at work to catch up the delay we had because of someone stupidity (I worked 6 supplementary hours in three days). And now I have someone in my family who died of Covid so my weekend is not as free I wished it to be. At best I can begin the game tomorrow afternoon.
