Evila "Eve" Van Rijn, mother.  Genetics researcher, also daughter of mad scientist Manfred Van Rijn, deceased.  Former assistant to her father; former lover of John Stanley the Jungle King, but ultimately couldn't deal with him, his self-aggrandizement or his struggles with fidelity.

Kate Van Rijn, younger sister, 10 years old.  After disappointments with the men in her life, Eve Van Rijn decided that enough was enough, and genetically engineered a daughter to her own specifications.  Kate is a genius, athletic, and in perfect health, but doesn't have actual superpowers.  She's surprisingly close to her big brother, and often attempts to give him advice in matters academic, superheroic and romantic, the last despite her utter lack of experience and possibly interest.

John Stanley the Jungle King.  Semi-retired superhero and celebrity, the Jungle King was an explorer and naturalist who gained animal powers after facing off with Dr. Manfred Van Rijn.  He's been linked to at least 8 romantic partners over the years and is still single; it is possible that he has more children than Jake.

NPCs
Parents - Mingmei’s parents are busy people. They do have several businesses to look after, but they are rather strict and expect to be obeyed.

Older Brother - Jun is attending a local university, planning to become a dentist. He still lives at home and is very busy studying, but tends to go a bit wild with partying on the weekend.

Trayvon Weeks - Mingmei’s childhood friend. They live next door to each other. He does very well at school and is very interested in computer programming and video games.

Leann Green - A friend from Mingmei’s time as a cheerleader, she’s also an ex-cheerleader now thanks to a knee injury. She has been very supportive of Mingmei’s career as the Red Fox.

Lihua Xiu - Her family recently moved to America from Hong Kong and she and Mingmei have become friends. She’s a little nervous around people as her grasp on english isn’t perfect.

Teen Challengers

Longbow - Son of the second hero to go by Longbow. He’s training hard to be in the next olympics as well. He’s also skilled with a rapier and acrobatics. Which means he might try for all three. Despite this, he’s a dedicated teammate and does what he can to help.

Grendel - Son of a mad scientist named Dr. Thaddeus Washington. He performed experiments on his son while in his mother’s womb, leading his son to grow to massive size when older and he became inhumanly strong. Not long after he started to show signs of mutation, his mother left their father. He’s a nice guy and very outgoing despite everything.

Hurricane - A second generation hero. His father was an archaeologist who found a strange medallion while on a dig in central America and was compelled to put it on. Having done so, he was granted power over the wind and used them as the hero Cyclone. Having retired and settled down, he somehow passed on his powers to his son. Hurricane is impulsive and thinks of himself as a ladies man, though his batting average isn’t great.
