"Woah," said the videographer.  "That was amazing."

They were now in a small apartment that was filled with computer equipment and three large monitors attached to one computer.

"Quite the set up you have here," Mingmei said.

"Well, I'm basically a street journalist," he said.  "I need a good setup to make quality videos."

"Like that one movie,,,what was it called? Nightcrawler?" Mingmei asked.

"I guess?" he said.  "I'm just Fred, though.  So, do you want me to show you, or just give you a copy?"

"How about both?" Mingmei asked.

"Okay," he said.  "So I was checking out these weird guys here..."

He showed a series of videos, following a man and a woman approaching various people who got into a van with them, or, in a smaller number of cases, left the van.  In a couple of cases, they gave something to the person they were dropping off.

And one of them was the Spider-Xenophobe.

Mingmei looked to see if the license plate was readable.

Perception or Investigation

No, she couldn't quite make it out.  It was local, though.

"Any chance you have one of those magic computers they have in cop shows?" Mingmei asked.

"Sorry," he said.  "If I zoom in more, it just pixilates."

"I know, it was a wild hope that maybe you were one of those super smart heroes,: Mingmei said.

"Nope," he said.  "Just Fred the Videographer.  Sorry.  If I have a power, it's being near weird things happening."

"That's a shame. Thanks for your help though, I'll let you be the first one to report my name," Mingmei said. "I go by Red Fox."

"Red Fox, eh?" he said.  "I'm Fred the Videographer.  Check out my channel.  You'll be getting a shoutout."

"Thanks, you've been a big help, Fred," Mingmei said. "I'll let you know when I set up a throw away email account or something in case you need to contact me."

"Well, you know how to find me," said Fred.  "Uh, later?  Maybe?"

"Yep! See ya," Mingmei said as she teleported away and headed for home.
