Can you pass me my handy haversack? It's the one that says "bad m*********er" on it.

Hey everyone! I'm excited to be a part of this. I'll be playing the enlightened monk-style dude. Mechanically, I'll be a Psion/Tactician. So there will be lots of cool buffs for everyone.

I was expecting a lot of spheres characters. They are the majority of PF characters on another site I frequent. Mechanically, I will be playing a Conscript // Incanter.

I will be playing a boring old first party character. Specifically, a monk and cleric.

...I'm also a heretical acolyte of the god of pain and beauty who believes that the key to being perfect is to cut away what's bad. Don't get her started on the topic unless you want a long and exhaustively researched discussion of theology.

She isn’t a kyton, is she? Perfect race for that concept, based on the cenobites of the Hellraiser films. I am playing one in another game. Not sure if monster races are allowed, though.

She isn't technically a kyton, but...pretty much, yeah, considering she's an outsider who has started replacing body parts with other things. Not evil though! She just...has a hard time convincing anyone else of that.

Hello smoothskinssss.... Alrighty that's enough of that. I'll be playing the resident Lizardfolk. I honestly didn't really know how Sphere classes went, but I knew what I wanted out of the base classes of Fighter and Wizard. Ricin (and possibly some of his 64 children) will be assisting with arcane magic and as a secondary tank.

If you have a hard time convincing people you aren't evil, then Delricarth doesn't stand a chance. He is an antipaladin/necromancer that has gained a conscience (click my name for details). He is only chaotic neutral now, but you may have read about him in your history books as a powerful villain before his "change of heart."

My aim is to be an absolute juggernaut, nearly impossible to kill. Hopefully others can "do their thing" more effectively while he has their enemies' attention.

Re: OOC Conversations

I admit, I am not 100% sure I understand how the 1-for-1 point buy for ability scores is supposed to work. I don't think I have played in a game with point buy described in that way before, and I want to make sure I understand before I do all of my calculations. Does it mean an ability score of 11 costs 1 and an 18 costs 8? Or does the 11 cost 11 and the 18 costs 18? Is 18 still the maximum, as usual? Am I completely off on everything?

From when I've played 1-for-1 point buy in the past, I believe you have that correct. I'm pretty sure 18 is still the max at creation before racial modifiers. Essentially, if my math is correct, you can have three 18's, a 14, and two 10's for your stat block.

Thanks. I appreciate the help. I will use that as the basis of my calculations unless I hear differently.

Re: OOC Conversations

I got a bit distracted with the whole sheet building thing, but with that effectively done now except for a question of how we plan to do HP, roll, average, full, or some combination of them I thought I would try for a bit of an introduction.

Bastila is mostly an arcane support caster, with a few tricks on the side.  I probably have any group diplomacy requirements covered if none of you are already going that road, but I don't have any interest in being the leader of anything nor does the character have that predisposition.

I also ended up with a little bit of extra gold to use as pocket change if we need it on the trip.

Cater,

For those with Crafting Feats are we allowed to purchase items at cost if we mark them as we created them?
