Yeah, I'm looking forward to it.  I was originally going to try for something like a melee-focused wizard, but I thought I Hexblade could accomplish the same feeling easier.

I've played a fair amount of Gloomhaven.  I have a virtual group that's been meeting just about every Friday for almost a year.  I've also played through some of Jaws of the Lion with my wife.

Hello all, so new I haven't even gotten my name in place, but I will be playing Sequitur Stoneboat, a female dwarf with a prodigious beard who was created originally as a cleric of Athena. I will need to see what gods and goddesses are available here.

Can't wait to see you all in game. I have no clue what Gloomhaven is, which I kind of like. Hopefully I can learn without dying too soon or too often.

Not spoiling the setting, but Gloomhaven is a board game, basically a dungeon-crawler with a neat card mechanic for choosing actions and represnting exhaustion.  It's the #1 rated boardgame on Boardgame Geek, though I suspect there's selection bias and other things affecting that ranking.
