You sleep restlessly, for some the rich finery of the noble beds in the burgomaster's mansion are too soft, for others it is the thought of the danger lurking just beyond the frail wood walls. Finally the morning comes, though the sky is dull and gray you are thankful for the light.

It must be 8am. There is the smell of bacon and coffee. Despite how corrupt these lands are, at least they are civilized. But the coffee is sour and the bacon...just doesn't taste correct.

When you are all gathered around the dining table-you try to push aside the thoughts of how the burgomaster's dead body laid here only a night ago-Ismark makes an announcement:

"Friends, I believe it is our next course of action to take Ireena to Vallaki. It is a well fortified city, and much farther away from Strahd's Castle. This is for her safe keeping, and you will likely find more help there. I will ready the carriage, it can hold all of us comfortably. If there is anything else you wish to do in Barovia, please be quick."

Ireena frowns, "I'm not a little lamb that needs safe keeping Ismark. I've killed more zombies than you. Friends, I have a separate proposition: I wish to head straight to Castle Ravenloft to explore it. Today. What say you?"

Skuldja asks for ale instead of coffee and she gobbles down a ton of bacon. It is meat and tastes alright to Skuldja. When Ireena speaks of the castle, Skuldja speaks up. "Oh yeah! The nice vampire man we met when we first got here asked us to take you to the castle so we could all have a yummy dinner together! Let's go there."

Ismark: "Ireena, last night you wanted to go see Madam Eva, today you want to go straight to Strahd himself. Friends please listen to reason. We should go to Vallaki."

Seti asks Ismark casually and politely, "Who is Vallaki?  If we are to help, perhaps you should lay it all out for us at once."

Brankx took a sour look at the mention of the vampire. “Personally I’d rather shove a wooden stake right up his ass than give ‘im what he wants...” The dwarf looked at Ismark, waiting to hear what his answer to Seti was.

He looked at Irenna. “If ye want to go to that bastard, I’m all for ye brothers plan. If ye want ter destroy him, then I’m all ears.”

"If ye wish to go to Strahd. We will escort you. I do not think that is the wisest of plans." Zrakrud offers softly, his eyes studying Ireena and then shifting to the others.
