Skuldja stops in her tracks. "Idea? Hmmm...    OH! I could use my lute to fly or go invisible. Then I could really get up there undetected and stop the summoning by smashing the statue or throwing one of the druids into it."

"Hell yes, that's a much better idea. Go OFF Skuldja!!!"

we are in init, players first, npcs, then baddies.

Skuldja casts invisibility on herself, and then charges the statue with her greatsword. She tries to be quiet, but the druids may hear the stomping of her feet as she approaches.

Zrakrud looks over to Skuldja, "Why didn't you use that first?" before he slides into the shadows of the nearest bush or rock.

Davian and Dag also try hiding with Zrakrud, to keep him protected.

The druids are preoccupied with their chanting. The nearest one hears you, looks around, but can't see you. Seems Skuldja might make it to them no problem.

Skuldja continues the invisible charge and hits the statue as hard as she can, while going into a rage. This breaks her invisibility as she swings her sword.

Zrakrud waited a moment for Skuldja to draw their attention before he began his chant and his strange rhythmic dance with his staff as he moved forward towards the druids. Within his song and chant he drew arcane symbols and spoke arcane words that upon completion he spoke and pointed towards the nearest druid with his staff. An invisible arc of energy lashes between the two...


OOC: Begin Blade Song (bonus Action), Move 45' SW towards the druids (Sorta towards Y5), closing some ground but not all. Cast Tasha's Mindwhip, DC 13 Int save for half. If failed can only complete one of the following, move, action or bonus action.

When Skuldja smashes the statue, blood splashes out. Curious. You know there's plenty more smashing to do before it is broken, but it is definitely working.

The druids are surprised but 1 and 2 quickly shelele (you and i both know that's not how its spelled) skuldja with massive spikey clubs. 2 hits Skuldja for 6dmg before rage bonus.

3 and 4 pray to nature and vines cover the entire area. (bc theater of the mind, we won't bother with the exact placement, but I'll lower the STR DC to 10 to be able to move around inside the circle. If fail you are entangled)

Seeing that the surprise attack has been activated, Dag leaps over the stone wall and rushes druid 1 with his rapier, only to get stuck in the vines halfway there.

Zrakrud continues his dance around the area, moving slightly to his west as he chants a short spell and flicks his wrist towards the druid he had struck just before. The Knife fails to strike the intended target, but explodes upon contact flinging shards of ice all about it.

Skuldja goes into a frenzy as blood from the statue covers her and she beats the hell out of the statue trying to smash it to bits.

Ice from Zrak's magic knife cuts deep into druid 1 as well as the Statue.

Skuldja makes her final blow and the wooden statue of the druid's god topples.

HORROR: Inside is a boy, covered in blood, dead. Hanging around his chest is a SILVER necklace with a glowing green gem the size of a heart. It is not clear if Skuldja killed him or if he was already dead.

The good news: Whatever the ritual was gonna do has been stopped.
The bad news: Dag's son Martin was inside the statue.

Dag screams and runs to the statue, breaking through the vines and stabbing away at the nearest druid in a blind rage: "MARTIN!!!!! NOOOOOOO!!!"

Davian looses all sense of tactic as well, screaming and running toward the closest druid to have revenge on the loss of his grandson.

Together the two hack druid 1 to pieces and then turn to find Whoever is next! The remaining Druids rush Davian and Dag, spiked clubs growing into their hands.

The shock of seeing a boy pop out of the statue stops Skuldja in her tracks for a moment, but then she roars out and goes after druid number 2.

Zrakrud dances closer, swirling and weaving his staff through the air, as he completes a swirl he points towards the nearest druid (#2) a ray of Frost streaks forth from his out stretched staff just missing the druid.

Zrakrud's spell goes wide, but Dag stabs furiously at Druid 2, and when Skuldja swings it is all over for the druid.

Davian and druid 3 exchange blows and stabs, both mindless in their nature fury.

Druid 4 crashes his club down on Dag.

Zrakrud take a mulligan next time. That's 3 misses in a row for you.

Dag finishes off his man, and Skuldja brutally executes the one fighting Davian.

A moment of wiping the blood from your eyes and catching your breath is broken by Dag's wailing sobs as he pulls his 13 year old boy out from the statue. Skuldja can breathe a sigh of relief though. The boys heart has been carved out and replaced with a glowing green uncut gemstone, the shape of it looks like a heart.

Dag: "OH MY GODDDDDD!"

Davian: "By the Raven Queen...what knowledge did this serve? This is only madness."

"I'm so sorry Dag." She then quickly turned to Zrakrud. "Quickly, let's go help the others!" She then used her Lute to cast fly on herself and offered her arms to Zrakrud. She would then fly as fast as she could to get to the others, carrying Zrakrud in her arms if he accepted her offer.

Zrakrud eyes the boy and the strange ritual that was to take place before he shook his head at the dragonwoman offering to carry him, "I move swiftly on my feet I will be there shortly behind you." Turning to the other men "Will you be okay here if we go see what is taking the others so long?"

Dag nods and waves at you to just go.

Zrakrud nods and his chant and dance drag him quickly towards the others
