We should figure out how we know each other and what kind of squad we are a part of.

I'm the seventh daughter of an old noble family known for their valor. Looking at your background you're from similar circles. It's always possible that we took basic together, or that our families are connected in some way. I imagine that the nobles would get special treatment going in compared to the slaves and other rabble, so likely at least part of their training would be separate.

Yeah. I come from an old family known for having blonde hair and blue eyes. I'm not sure that we'd have spent much operational time together since you're a heavy and I'm a light, but perhaps we've been in the same social circles. 2 noble women of a similar age, military careers? It seems that our "clique" would be pretty small.

@DM: Do you have any other player ideas?

@DM & Val: Minylene has a recently homeless half-orc slayer that wouldn't be a bad addition to our girl power team. Just throwing it out there.

Imperial's would likely operate with a Legion sort of a system, so a complete force would have some of everything. So while they likely wouldn't have fought in the same fight's, they've likely been in a lot of the same Theatres. Otherwise I'm sure they know each other through things like the officer's mess, and perhaps a social club of some kind. It could even be a shared Mystery(secret cult of religious worship; Mithras would be an example of this.) of some kind.

Miny's fun to have around, I'm sure whatever she brings would be fine.

For the deity, I was going to go with a generic Athena type of god or goddess to represent the empire overall. But a secret cult of Dionysus / Venus have appeal. What you are saying about the Legion makes sense. I can dig it. Any ideas on what types of theatres we may have been a part of that would have brought us to this region?

We both make use of the Specialization Feat. You know how many Fighters I see that ignore the easy bonuses to damage, to hit, and to defense? I love how your feat selection revolves around making use of your equipment!

I'm still considering swapping the long sword for a trident, but I love the crit range on the longsword. The Crit feats are just lots of fun.

What is stopping you from going with both? Use the Trident in situations where it is more beneficial to be on the offense than defense. The extra damage from 2 handing it. Use the longsword more often, even though its not your favorite, and treat the trident as a bonus surprise?
