With the first officially created character, I is time to open up a thread for out-of-character chat. Hopefully this won't get too lost under the many setting threads.

Howdy there my Tortoise friend!  First, props, I adore the blatant criminals and smugglers respected caretakers of Otosan Uchi.

Figure that we should chat and get to know each other a little bit if we've been going to school together eh?  And ditto will of course go for anyone else that joins us!

While I too am a fan of the Tortoise clan, Hiruto will be representing to "other" slow moving, armored animal, the Crab.

Or more specifically, their vassal family the Kano.

The medallion is related to a significant event in the boys life, although I do really like the idea of a bunch of coastal smugglers treating the fat kid like one of their own on the assumption that he is "in the know" after seeing his ornamentation.

Haha!  For some reason my sleep-deprived brain just assumed that given the character description (IE fat kid) that the Kano were related to the Kasuga somehow.  My fault for not bothering to look it up.  Crab makes total sense though!

But yeah, I'm afraid that your idea is now head-canon, and I demand that we make it so?

Now if we can get a Crane girl, maybe an Owl girl, and a Unicorn girl, I can recreate the entire plot of that movie Mean Girls. XD
