Umuru was surprised, but she did enjoy kissing...

Dan appeared to be doing that thing where he tried to see how far he could push things while kissing her; Ehri, of course, had a large number of mechanical hands that assisted her in various tasks, but Dan was giving a credible impression of being "All Hands" himself.

"May-maybe slow down a bit?" Umuru said.

"Oh, ah, sure," said Dan, awkwardly returning his hands to more neutral positions.  "Sorry.  Got carried away."

"It's okay," Umuru said.

"So, uh," said Dan.  "Are you going to look for that other Angel?"

"Are we done?" Umuru asked.

"No, we don't have to be," said Dan.  "Just wondering if you're going to do it."

"I'll look, but I don't really know anything about the angel," Umuru said.

"Well, sure," said Dan.  "...just so the other one doesn't go on a rampage or something."

"I have time," Umuru said. "So, um, what is normal for a second date?"

"Well, it kinda depends," said Dan.  "What we've done is more or less all right."

"Ah. How can we make it better?" Umuru asked.

"Well, for one thing," said Dan, grinning, but then he stopped himself.

"This is actually fine," he said.  "I mean, more Angels showing up isn't great, but obviously we can't do anything about that.  And... uh... I haven't been on a second date before, either, so I don't even know what it ought to be like."

"I guess we should head back then," Umuru said.

"Yeah, I guess so," said Dan.  He packed things up and got back on his motorcycle.

Umuru climbed on the back and grabbed hold of Dan.

Dan grinned, and he started driving her back.

...there were strange lights in the sky, but distant.

"Thank you for the date," Umuru said.

"Hey, likewise," said Dan.  "Uh, I hope we can do things again sometime soon."

"Yes, it should not be a problem," Umuru said.

"Cool," said Dan.  He drove her to Ehri's place, that being where she was staying.

"Thank you," Umuru said. "Perhaps next time we can talk about going further."

Dan's eyes lit up.

"I'd... I'd like that," he said.  "If you want to."

"Okay, I should get going," Umuru said, giving Dan a kiss and heading inside.
