Umuru did as she was told.

"All right," said Ehri.  "Now, just relax, and I'll try and link your memories... is there anything special that you want to do with this?"

"No, I just think it is important this happens," Umuru said.

"All right," said Ehri.  "Go ahead, cue up what you're sharing... NOW."

Umuru decided to share her creation, arrival on Earth and her time on Earth.

Paha shared... as much emotion as memory.  Her life, being created as a weapon to destroy evil.  A hopeless longing for something more, brutally suppressed to not be regarded as a rogue.  A need to love, but no idea of how to achieve that.  A buried self-loathing, a desire for self-destruction as a way out.  A desperation for something more.

And war.  So, so much war.

Umuru decided to share her life before Earth and the loneliness of it.

Paha appeared to be trying to connect with her beyond the sharing of memories-- a desperate need, it felt like.

Umuru was confused, they were already connected.

...so far, the connection was memories, and some emotions through them.  But it could be more open.  Or, perhaps, it was just a loneliness?

Umuru tried to make Paha see that they were already connected now.

There was a massive outpouring of need, of love, of... wanting a connection that was poorly understood.

"What do you want, exactly? I am confused," Umuru said.

"...I don't know!" Paha's thoughts wailed.  "I... I need... I need you, I need her, I need something!"

"You have us now," Umuru said.

"...don't know what that mean..." Paha sent.

"We care deeply about you and your well being. we won't leave you," Umuru sent.

"....yours now," Paha sent, relaxing.

"I am yours as well," Umuru said.

"And hers, too," said Paha.

"There is plenty of me to go around," Umuru said.

"I hope there is enough of me," said Paha, blushing.  "I will do my best for you!"

"Do not worry," Umuru said. "You do not have to try too hard. You are already great."

"Should we go back to the others?" Paha asked.

"I think we should," Umuru said.
