This is where you ended up. The wind is blowing softly as the sun has begun to set.

Ehri began to walk along the beach, looking out over the sea.  Each seascape on each world was slightly different, different colors, different waves, different smells... but all beautiful in their own way.  She needed something like this to clear her head, every now and then.

A single crab, about the size of a small dog came out of the sand and stood there, staring at you.

That... that wasn't right, was it?  She stopped and looked at it.  What species was this?

"...what are you?" she asked it, out loud.

It raised one claw and clacked it at you.

"A vague answer," said Ehri.  "And not an actual attempt to communicate, or I'd know what you were saying.  But I don't think you're a native species around here..."

The crab looked from side to side.

"Woof," it said.

"And now you just revealed that you aren't even a displaced terrestrial crab," said Ehri.  All around her, the Hands began to deploy themselves.

"I suppose that if this was a trick to get me to reveal myself, well done, it worked," she continued.  "But I think you may find that it wasn't a good plan."

The crab began to scuttle away.

Well, she was committed now, wasn't she?  She followed the crab.

The crab reached a large hill and began to dig furiously there,

Ehri followed and waited, ready for trouble.  What was going on here?

You can see the crab has unveiled some sort of pet door and with that it went inside.

...very suspicious.  Luckily, she had solutions, and she activated a scanner to sense what was inside the mound.

Remote Sensing.  Easily within range.

Inside you found a large elevator shaft, currently the crab was riding a smaller elevator down. Further down into the darkness you eventually come to a brightly lit laboratory. There is a figure rushing about, checking things in vats. Getting a closer look, it appears to be your classmate Harriet! The only human in the school that could even approach your mighty intellect.

That was unexpected.  Ehri attempted to find a way to open the door and go down.  One of these days, she was going to have to figure out an approach to teleport gateways...
