British 3rd Armoured Division replaces British 4th Armoured Division in the vanguard of the drive towards Berlin. The individual brigades of 4th Armoured Division go into laager to conduct battle damage repair and reorganize the divisions battle groups. Canadian 4th Mechanized Brigade Group reports contact with reconnaissance elements of Soviet 86th Air Assault Brigade, a formation previously believed to be part of the Northern Group of Forces in Poland.
