BuddyBear, I'm loving your backstory. Arska sure wishes she had a BestFriend growing up. Just what does a robot need food and water for?

I'm currently between friends. Most of my friends aren't in great shape when I find them, and I have to take care of them for awhile before I can leave them to go hunting.

Scavengers and Vek are pretty handy with Ancient Earth tech...so Mad Maggs and Scale of the Book might be able to tinker with Buddy Bear's programming...they'll certainly fancy having a go, anyway!

Story
Emmeline is a DJ at a roving event known as “The Family Circle”, where she takes the decks every couple of weeks, sharing with her equally talented sisters. Born and raised in Areasi, she loves it when she gets to play in her home area. A metalhead since birth, her music tends to gravitate towards the various subgenres of Metal, but she will occasionally break genre for requests, or because something has taken her fancy.
Her music is mainly inspired by her one true lover, who has mysteriously gone missing from their home. She suspects an age old feud has kicked back off after she singlehandedly resolved a generations-old conflict years ago, and that one of the aggressors has taken it out on her by taking the one thing that she loves more than her music.
Unsurprisingly, this hasn’t gone down well. She stormed into the neighboring village, blasting an extremely aggressive Death Metal track with the intention of causing a ruckus, and bringing people out into her line of fire. Leaving none alive, she searched the entire village, finding nothing but a trace of where her lover was being held. Returning to her home village, she joined up with another band of barbarians, in the hope that she might find more clues, and hopefully reunite with her one true love.

Appearance
Emmeline is a Human female with medium length hair which she has been dyeing black for who knows how long. She is taller than most, at 6ft tall, a fact she accentuates with her platform heeled boots boosting her to 6’6’’. She also has a tattoo in a private place bearing the name of her lover, whom she hopes to rescue.

Onboarding: Remember to please go with what the "Animator" does to the scene... Last time I ran a game with this structure, it was derailed by days of arguing details and well, we would have.. we could have.. my character would never... instead of just taking the scene as set. The problem? I posted it was the next day, not letting them do effectively nothing for days of posting the night before.. after complaining the plot was not moving.

We'll open with the setup scene... and then you can post how you got to where it takes place if you like (or just indicate that you will post after everyone else does their setup).

Question: are we waiting for something in particular? As far as I can tell, we're all there, we have our mission, shall we get on with it?

I figured we were waiting for Buddy Bear and Maharet to post their response to the latest scene...though it seems Maharet hasn't logged in for the last week.

Sorry, I just haven't had anything to say... I took Buddy's cooperation as a given, and forgot that nobody else would. And I've been obsessively focused on some other things the last few days.

I'm game to move on, unless everyone wants me to say that of course I'll be following them.

I'm happy to get on with it, just RPing a bit just for fun, if people are up for it.
