On board for a reboot.  Do we still have everyone?  If not, do we need to consolidate covenants?

I wouldn't want to go back through creation. I like the previous suggestion of jumping ahead a season or two (don't know if the suggestion was beginning or end of summer). If we've lost some, maybe some covenants decide to merge or maybe not as some magi give up on the endeavor. That way things can move along since magi and covenants are basically already created.

It would be helpful to figure out Beta-SG assignments and maybe give access,  so that we don't have a one-person chokepoint to keep things moving.

I can do that quickly. I like the labeling used already (e.g. Beta SG - The Aerie) to keep things clearer. Any Beta SG can let me know which spot, and I'll make the adjustment.

I believe we agreed that I would mange the travelling magi. IDK if they have a more poetic name for themselves.

OOC Discussion 2

In reply to Alpha SG (msg # 3):

I am still here but the hedge thread is currently dead. Its unmotivating to continue with it since the key pralix player hasnt responed once.

But I understand a reboot is a lot of new work. Perhaps some of us could at least do a new magi attached to another covenant?

If you aren't crazy about your character or you based it on a circumstance that has now changed I don't see a reason why you couldn't change. Just so long as we don't have some huge exodus and have to work out a whole new covenant.

Re: OOC Discussion 2

From what I can see, by just looking at the cast and who is logging in and the threads I am in, our situation is like this? Please correct me if I am wrong of course. Maybe a show of hands of who wants to try to continue in the dead threads would be usefull?

Re: OOC Discussion 2

Ya, 2 and 9 seem to be dead, which unfortunately kills the Redcap covenant.

13 logs on but might just not be posting because A-SG was down so he didn't see a point. I don't care to control your magi but losing your Pralican hardly kills the Hedge covenant. His involvement isn't actually critical like their thing doesn't even help that much for integration. Even if their magic understanding ability was useful it still doesn't make the covenant impossible.

Basically I wouldn't cross out a whole covenant because one magus drops.

In reply to Player 4 (msg # 15):

What I mean with the crosses is more that the thread hasn’t been active since April. The Pralican was important in founding imo, but perhaps the other members feel differently.

Re: OOC Discussion 2

Ya I don't believe any of the IC threads are exactly hopping. Not worth crossing them out, the whole game has been stalled for like two months.

Founding? Everything is founded that already happened, he was there for that. If you don't want to do that theme OOC then that's cool. But a Pralican is hardly even a useful resource, much less a necessary one. It's not like your Magi are going to want to do integrations less because there isn't a nominal specialist around.

If he has never responded in your covenant thread then apparently you all decided on this in tribunal and he never made it to the next meeting. Presumably because he advanced his Magic Understanding too much and someone popped him through his parma. Badda boom! instant story hook!

To be clear this is hate on the game not on the player. Pralix is one of the many instances where the mechanics missed the mark to the point that they are not worth interacting with. Same when I rag on Bjornare and Tremere. I can be mad at something for being worse than not having a house and still think they are fun and not blame someone for wanting to play one.
