Spoken, well, like a true gambler. A binary. Pays out or does not. Doesn't professional MTG involve maximizing your deck? I was contracting at Microsoft in the late 90's at the height of the MTG craze.

No, 4.0 was a lot of fun if you're into tactical fantasy combat. But there were so many states, modifiers, and so forth to track that it was burdensome to run. For a few years though, my brain really loved that meal. Since then it's been strictly AD&D variants for me.
