The town was busy and full of activity, with lots of excited, hushed gossip.

Inaaya kept her hears open, listening for any gossip about the chosen ones.

Well, there wasn't much about "Chosen Ones" as such, but something about slavers?  Getting wiped out?

That was good.

"Perhaps we should check at the inns?"

"That makes sense," said Eisa.

...the inns were quite crowded, but a good chance to hear gossip, at least.

Inaya headed for the closest one.

She quickly found one.

Inaaya headed inside and tried to pick up the local gossip.

Investigation and Perception

This time, she was hearing news-- outside a small town, a bunch of slave traders had been wiped out in battle by a couple of strange foreigners, one graceful, one rather clumsy but incredibly tough.

Inaaya relayed what she had heard to her companions.

"This might be what we were looking for."

"Agreed," said Eisa.  "So what's our move?  Go to that village and ask there?"

"Yes, it's the best lead we have," Inaaya said.

Is Inaaya dressed inconspicuously?

It looked like they'd be able to slip out of town without too much trouble.

"Let's go," Inaaya said.

They slipped out of town, and were soon underway to the village.

"I am feeling good about this," Inaaya said.
