Since I'd like to use Milestone leveling for this game I'd like everyone to have a Short Term Goal and a Long Term Goal for their character. However, these don't have to be individual if you don't want to.

If two or more of you want to share the same goal that actually helps me know what is the most interesting thing for the group and where to focus my efforts. Feel free to discuss that here or in PMs.

I guess we already know what everyone is playing, unless that's changed for anyone. I'm still a Rogue. :-)

Does anyone have plans for character ties already? If Arren is still the guy whose first thought upon seeing a dwarf is "arm-wrestling", I could see him and Ilyana competing regularly in whatever made-up contests they can come up with. Andrea and Ilyana seem to both want to get out of Settenhowe and see the world, so they might be making plans for that together, either actual, practical ones or just daydreams. Cinni seems too studious at first glance to have much in common with Ilyana, but I don't know what other interests she might have, except for the implied pyromania. :-)

What do you think about group goals? It might make sense to have a common short-term goal, or different goals that lead to the same place/event, so the group has a reason to stick together. But maybe trying to find something that works for everyone would make it too artificial. An obvious goal for Ilyana would be some kind of challenge or dare, but I'm flexible.

About Baron Khulvan, what do we know about him? Has he ever visited the village, and if so, how did he seem and what did he do? Are there any rumours about him, his family and staff, or Castle Dhunraven?

Also, what time of year are we starting out in? Winter, as the title says, or is that still coming? (I'm asking because it might affect short-term goals, not just to make a cheap Game of Thrones reference.)
