Happy to work for them, as long as sidequests won't interfere with the main campaign (by sending us all the way to Kislev for example).

Fyodor - it does sound like we will only make a little gold too!

I'm happy to work for the Mayer's too.  It will be good for Lukas to get used to the city, build up some contacts and also have some funds behind him with the essentials of board taken care of.

The way I'm looking at it is that working for the Mayers - or Brokk Ranulfsson or the Ranaldites - provides you guys some security for getting by in Middenheim along with a source of side quests and some long term character possibilities.

The main campaign itself - at least in Ashes - is mostly written as independents solving a mystery though there are opportunities for you to interact with potential patrons. You might also get a little gold as an immediate reward for returning the icon so there is that.

Working for the Mayers - or, ahem, infiltrating them - whilst we play out the main thread seems an interesting route. Happy if you want to fade most of into the background and concentrate on the main plot and interesting bits

And yes Klinka you do play a grumpy dwarf suspiciously well!

So you won't be needed to guard the warehouse until late evening. Any plans for late afternoon/early evening? Do you want to deliver the icon now or follow up other leads?

I agree with taking the icon back and it's a great idea to get a fur for Fyodor's songstress...

Did we claim any reward for safely guiding that silversmith back to Middenheim?  If nothing else it may be worth getting friendly with someone who can value things.

Yeah, get better soon mate.  I managed to injure my foot taking off my sock after a walk on Saturday- been hobbling about since and it's all bruised and swollen.  In my younger years I'd have injured it doing something exciting lol.
