Yeah, I know, this is the boring stuff that nobody wants to go and read, but it's a balanced part of every breakfast RPoL game.   Anyways, let's go:


1) Twenty-point buy.  It's not absolutely crazy in terms of strength, but still, it should be enough to get you started.  No third-party stuff.

2) Two traits, one of which must be a Shattered Star campaign trait.  Taking one drawback gets you a third trait.  Background skills (from Unchained) are in use, as well.

3) Banned classes: Antipaladin, Summoner (Unchained Summoner is perfectly good, though!), Vigilante, Medium, Mesmerist, Occultist, Psychic, Spiritualist.

4) Races: Core races only (dwarf, elf, gnome, half-elf, half-orc, halfling, human).  (Please don't gripe at me because you can't play some half-aasimar half-catfolk that was raised by tieflings in this game...)

5) Alignment: No evil or chaotic neutral, non-evil deities only.

6) Max money at first level.

Players should keep in mind that we will be using the included Prestige/Fame rules in the campaign player's guide.

Procedures for Character Creation:

1) Once you've been added to the game, consider that a sign from me to go ahead and start grinding on your character sheet, following the previously-given instructions!


2) Pick yourself a text color that is not one of the following:

Red - This will be pretty much the official "hey, you might want to pay attention to this message here from the GM" color.


Orange - the OOC color in game threads, to be used when posting rolls and everything else.  Use this color to denote speaking, talking, etc.


3) Once you've got a sheet ready for me to look at, poke me in a PM and I'll give you the okay.  Hopefully, this won't take more than 48 hours, but the start post will go live after all four characters have been gone over and okayed.  I don't have an exact preference as to what sheet or template you ought to use, but as long as I can make out what's what without too much trouble, I really don't care.


4) Pick yourself a profile picture.  Pick one that might resemble your character; I'm not exactly going to complain if it's anime or whatever.  If you want to upload a picture to your profile, then that's okay, too- but again, keep in mind the RPoL policies on the kinds of stuff that's okay to upload.


5) Head on over to the dice roller and roll up a set of 20 d20s (recording every die) and place them, in order, at the bottom of your profile.  These are your initiatives, and will save us a lot of time to have on-hand instead of potentially waiting for everyone to be on just to roll it.


6) Park yourself over on in the OOC thread and meet your brave compatriots, while waiting for your GM to kick things off!
