1) The Cardinal Rule of Gaming: Let's just have some fun!
2) GM Experience Policy: I'm still kind of a rookie GM, but still, I have a lot of drive and passion to actually get this game off the ground and running! But, let's face it- I might screw up and make a mistake here, or I might miss a class combination that's really overpowered, or whatever. If I screw up, let me know, and I'll try to fix it and make it right. But there's a difference between "hey, you might want to look at page X in book Y" and "oh my god you dumb *bleep* you can't even GM right don't you understand blahblahblah...". The first might earn you your GM's gratefulness, the second might result in a solid kick right out the game.
3) OOC Threads: To save various things- like time, minds, stress, and sanity; and to jump out in front of things before they happen- I'm also posting up a 'let's keep OOC chats civil' request: Keep it away from politics, religion, and pretty much anything else that people end up having strong opinions about- not that I don't trust people can't handle themselves around such issues, but let's face it, we play games for an escape, and there's the whole rest of the internet to have these discussions in. (I mean, really, what would you rather have me do- get the next post up, or have to spend my afternoon stomping out arguments between players and everyone getting drawn into some dumb argument that didn't have to happen?)
4) Game Rating: The game will have an M rating, due to mature themes. I don't forsee it going up to an AO unless absolutely necessary.

Hey! Hey you! Yeah, you reading this rules thread, and the one who clicked this spoiler!
Between questions three and four of the character and campaign questions of the RTJ, give me your favorite ice cream flavor and one reason why you like it!
5) Be good to each other: Disagreements happen- especially in character- but there's never any reason to drag all that stuff out-of-character. Talking things out is encouraged; throwing a fit and screaming at each other is not. If I have to, I *will* toss players who don't understand that a game table is not a place to get into it with others.
6) Follow the RPoL Rules: You are expected to follow the RPoL rules- specifically, the Terms of Use and Acceptable Use Policy, as well as the Mature Games Policy. I mean, really, this isn't
that hard. These are guidelines that really shouldn't be pushed- and people who decide they absolutely
have to push these will be referred to the mods.
7) Character Sheets: It is your responsibility to keep up your character sheet- your character, in a pinch, will possess whatever they have listed on their sheet and nothing else (I'm not going to gripe about pulling something really minor like flint and steel, soap, etc.- but if you start pulling out potions, armor, magic weapons, or anything major? Yeah, we might have a problem- because if you left it off your sheet, it might be likely you left it behind at the inn or at camp in a moment of pure derp.
I'll be keeping my own for my records, though.
8) Loot Thread: We will have a Thread for Phat Lewts- a catch-all where you can decide how to split up everything you find. This keeps that book-keeping all together and in a separate thread so it's not clogging up the main game thread.
9) Posting Rate: Things can get a little hectic from time to time, so let's call it this- if we're in combat, try to post at least
once every two days. Outside of combat,
four posts in a week.
