Re: Opening Scene
"I don't know much about her before she came to us. She is a tan houndfolk with a white fur on her face, chest and at the tip of a bushy tail. Last time I saw her, she had her tail hair bound by a leather strap in a cross pattern. She had a well made short sword at her hip. Otherwise, I don't know much else. We, the Seekers, are a larger organization and have had run ins with the Sczarni gang and we were hoping to be able to tap into the underworld connections they might have. It's easier to find artifacts and other ancient technologies from those that live under the notice of the guard. That might not be the best course of action, but the underground trade community is a very paranoid bunch which should make sense. Any new technology has the potential to be scooped up by the Archivists, the Speakers, or even the Created, not to mention the Ranks of the Fit, the Knights, and the Iron Society are all looking for more power in their struggles for dominance."
"The Sczarni are a group that have been in the Well of Hope for a very long time. Some say they were hear near the fall, though I found this to be dubious at best. They aren't a bad organization for they do allot of good for the city itself. They police the more dangerous parts of town and are not engaged with the more violent crime. There are six major Sczarni 'clans' in the city: the Creepers, Doolun's Lads, the Gallowed, the Tower Girls, the Washside Wringers, and the Wreckwash Blades, with the Gallowed being the most powerful Sczarni clan."
"Natalya, when she first approached us, had mentioned gaining aid from a created man known as The Amazing Zograthy, I think he lives and works in Dockway near Washer's Row, but the nature of running the Seekers makes it very difficult for me to get out much to know exactly where he is. I've also heard rumors about slavers prowling in the middle of the night, though which of the more extreme alliances is doing this, I don't know. Natalya may also have been picked up by the watch for some minor crime, so you lot could check with the constable at the Arvensoar just in case. Other than this, I don't have much more to tell you, other than good luck."
"Oh! There's a board near the Arvensoar that some people will post notices and job offers, they may give you other clues or even something interesting and profitable to look into while you are looking for her. A few extra domars never hurt and may even net something interesting."
