Mutated:

HEAT/COLD SUSCEPTIBILITY [DRAWBACK]
Your body does not react well to particularly hot or cold temperatures.

Drawback: You take double damage from prolonged exposure to extreme heat or cold.

REDUCED SPEED [DRAWBACK]
You are unable to move as quickly as normal due to various mutations and deformities.
MP Value: 3.
Drawback: Reduce your speed by 5 feet. This speed decrease also applies to any natural burrow, climb, fly, or swim speed you might have.
Special: You may take this drawback multiple times. Its effects stack.

SCENT [MINOR]
You can detect approaching enemies, sniff out hidden foes, and track by sense of smell. You can also identify familiar odors the way humans do familiar sights.

SMOKESCREEN [MINOR]
You expel chemicals through your pores to create an inky-black cloud of smoke, engulfing yourself and the surrounding area.
MP Cost: 1.
Benefit: Once per day, as a free action, you can produce a 20-foot-radius cloud of smoke centered on yourself. The cloud is stationary once created. The inky-black smoke obscures all sight, including darkvision, beyond 5 feet. A creature 5 feet away has partial concealment (20% miss chance). Creatures farther away have total concealment (50% miss chance, and the attacker cannot use sight to locate the target).
This ability functions underwater. A moderate wind or current disperses the cloud in 4 rounds. A strong wind or current disperses the cloud in 1 round.

WALL CRAWLER [MINOR]
You can walk walls and cling to ceilings like a spider. You have tiny barbs on your hands and feet to facilitate climbing, and your fingers and toes secrete a transparent adhesive that lets you cling to smooth surfaces.
MP Cost: 2.
Benefits: As long as your hands and feet are uncovered, you can climb perfectly smooth, flat, vertical surfaces. In addition, you gain a +4 mutation bonus on all Climb checks. Wearing gloves or footwear reduces the bonus to +2, and wearing both gloves and footwear negates the bonus entirely.
You also gain a +4 mutation bonus on Acrobatics checks made to balance when moving across a slippery surface. Wearing any kind of footwear negates this bonus.

Not at all. You could be from an established family that has studied ancient tech.

Former houseplants (outdoor) like ivy or kudzu...

My first question would be identity.  What makes them the same as Healers, and what makes them different from Healers?  What drives Green Guardians to be Green Guardians, rather than Healers who also happen to be plants?

Green Guardians:
The Green Guardians are an alliance of sentient plants, trained in an esoteric martial tradition called the Green Way, that are dedicated to protecting plantlife wherever it may be found. They are hailed as heroes in Garden Land.

Green Guardians is a group originally formed from park rangers that have tried to preserve nature and restore toxic areas. They seek to return the land to its unblemished form. (Plants/Animals that absorb radiation are fine, those that produce it are not)

I think the idea of survival fits

In a lot of ways even in the examiner class plus the removal of feat taxes gives tons of options when my BAB reaches +1

This was brought up in a RTJ and I thought I might bring it up to the group. I thought it might be balanced to give those that were building their own races, to have a more flexible option to buy mutations, but it seems to be causing some confusion.

Do y'all think it would be better to revert back to beneficial and drawback mutations must balance, or allow you to buy the Mutated ability and get a 1 point benefit?

This loaner truck has no power inverter! Ugh. I have to do everything from my phone until I get my old truck back or switched to one with an inverter.

That's about all he's good for.

One big group is fine. If needed, they can split up, allowing for more options. Like the more stealthy hit the back door while the tanks have the enemies attention.

There's really not much extra to see from the air as all the currently relevant info is on the ground or with the guards. Once you two have landed, y'all could fly, once you have the location, and scout the building if you two would like.
