That's an interesting class. The whole "getting attacks/magic from monsters" reminds me of a blue mage from Final Fantasy.

Decided my focused style is polearm-using.

Hello. Ashell will mainly be a member of the Investigator class (and I think with 1 level of Swashbuckler at the start).

That is exactly what drew me to the class in the first place.

I kind of decided to go full reaper with my character. He'll wield an adamantine scythe into battle and collect his enemies' souls. His personality hopefully won't be reaper-like though.

This is the first time I recall playing a character with a negative intelligence modifier too, so that will be a new experience for me. It pained me to subtract skill points from low Int. :-P

Sounds like people have a plan more or less put together. Ready to move to the abduction attempt?

Sure sounds weird to say "Yes, we're ready for an abduction!" lol

Try to think of it as less an abduction, and more along the lines of "we're liberating one of these poor souls, and incidentally acquiring information critical to helping the others stuck here". It's all a matter of how you spin it after all.

Sorry all. I think I am going to bow out. I'm just not getting in to this game like I thought I would, and work has been crushing me lately so my energy and creativity are just low. I wish you all good luck and lots of fun.

So uh. We've lost two for sure, and Teves hasn't logged in for about a month. Down to three players...not sure that'll be stable, and this really didn't take off much to begin with. Are people feeling invested enough I should look into replacements?

I am fine with whatever the other two want to do. I am having fun, but the game hasn't gone on long enough yet to really get invested so I won't be too sad if the others want to call it quits.

I'm no quitter, I'm here until the bitter end. This game has potential, I'd hate to see it fade.

I'm still willing to keep the game going if everyone else is.

I'll take some part of the blame for the slow start. While I think being cautious and advising we gather intel was a good tactical move, I also made the classic mistake of suggesting we "split the party". Members of the group basically couldn't contribute for a chunk of time. I'm hoping if we can join up again and stick together the game might pick up some momentum.

So. I haven't talked about this here. It's pretty personal. I have a dissociative condition related to identity. The common term is multiple personalities. Unfortunately, the ylva identity went dormant yesterday. There is no way to say if she will be back. The rest of us are picking up her games as we can. This one is unfortunately one where no one else is a good fit for it. I wish I could keep it going but with no one here to do so, I cannot see how. Many apologies and we will be around to answer any questions.

So it sounds like this game is going into "sleep-mode" for the foreseeable future then? Bummer. Understandable though. If it ever gets revived, let me know! I will probably still be around and happy to continue the story.
