Great way to establish a group history!

My understanding of it all, is as follows...
-"Enigma" and Ymir met in a marketplace and decided to go looking for some missing kid who probably got fed up with her grandmother's "cooking" and wouldn't let her cook her own dishes, which were taught to her by a Halfling warrior-chef.  Enigma, because "helping others and doing good things" is all a part of her philosofaith, and Ymir because "the job market just isn't what it used to be for guys like me".
-Madoc got jumped by a bunch of ruffians and goons (not the Something Awful kind) and almost died.
-"Enigma" and Ymir kept the bad guys from killing Madoc.
-Serafina and Shadow helped mop up the bad guys.
-Fresh from defeating a demon lord, Jira did a knee slide out of a gate from the Lower Planes, followed up with a front-flip, and planted her sword into the bad guy's boss' head.

I reckon that about sums it up! A group of people who have already bonded through shared dangers and hardships...and comfortable with each other's quirks and mannerisms.

Working on enemy turn currently, will have that ready today for you all!

I will also be incorporating some advanced optional rules from the new books, like the Parry move, so that will give us some more play options.

I ordered the books a little bit ago and snagged the PDF's with them. I've been meaning to do so anyway. But, really dislike trying to sit and read / enjoy a book on a tablet or computer screen. So waiting for the books to arrive. But, I don't mind picking through and adding bits. In this case Madoc wanted to use parry, which is totally cool on my end. I will be able to use the advanced classes and such for the later games this way too.

The Advanced books are great. The new classes add lots of variety without taking away from the core classes and the few optional rules add a bit of depth without being overly complicated. Necrotic Gnome have done a brilliant job.

I'm here, don't worry. Had a bit of an unplanned travel week. I am just getting home for first time since Tues, so gonna relax for a bit and will have a post up this evening for you all. Sorry for the misstep. Should be back on track now though.

Pffft, these guys probably wanna give the goblins ciders and pies, too.  Prolly wanna marry 'em, too, since they seem to like 'em so much.

Goblins love apple pie too and through one hell of a wedding reception. Or so I've heard.
