Fair enough. I hate it when a player goes rogue, but that's not my intent. Just need to come up with some reasonable justification for it.

If it helps, everyone at the Mithril Claw will likely leave for the dock gate at the same time - so they will likely walk in a group. Even if Meridian maintains his aloof elven ways :-)  he could still end up picking up a lot of what the other PCs have learned on the way there.

I actually like the fact that we have a snobby elf, a crazy elf, a curmudgeonly dwarf, a stoic Slith and a redemption-seeking kuduk and a sneaky half-elf whose personality is not quite know yet.

The group dynamics should be interesting!

Who's sneaky, I haven't done anything but talk and think about stuff with some intelligence and common sense.

I just know there will be coin in this, one of several parties will be willing to pay.

I've got to admit, Aendyr's obsession with the masculine party composition (or mostly so ... for all you know, Qrox could be a female slith) is cracking me up.

Game is starting to get interesting.

Brevat is my go to name, will give my real name if and once I trust you.

I like it because it basically means temporary, was used alot in the Civil War. A good ex. Is Brevat Major. Would mean someone who was given a temporary rank of major.

Fixed that on the languages--Nilese is the Slith language.

One added consideration:  per Trozan law, knowingly receiving stolen property is judged as having participated in the theft itself.

Of course, forgery is also illegal, but that probably goes without saying.

When you roll for my forgery roll, remember I am making my 2 copies flawed on purpose. I want them to fail blame the guy who lost them to us in card game.

Would Qrox know enough about the city to know these actions were illegal?

Any citizen of Trozan would know that these actions are illegal; unless one is very freshly (ie never traveled outside the home area) out of a client/treaty nation, it would be known, also.

If uncertain, make a WIS check (WIS or less).

The DM's rules for random languages can cause complications!

DM: I used 5% for Neo's XP bonus as he meets for thief, but not for fighter.

As to character conflict, as long as no one is taking personally as a player, I am fine with a bit...things have to resolve, to some degree, however, if the group is going to stick together!

So we know that we need 600 gold to get a ring...which may have nothing to do with anything...I love it!
