It is the 4th of Guardian in the year of 9:54 Dragon. It is shortly after sunrise when a streak of fire darts across the sky and impacts the water. A group of Inquisition soldiers were dealing with a Darkspawn attack on the surface they were the closest unit.

Most of the crew of the Shepard were killed during the attack or on impact. The captain an asari was under strict orders to not let the ship to fall into enemy hands no matter what. She was in full armor with her rebreather helmet. She waited as long as she could then manually detonated the self destruct. The survivors were greeted by sharks. Most died.
