@Simon Right? The only time I could see it being useful is if you had a DM who was a stickler for ammo, and you were regularly using javelins. Some sort of strength based, javelin and shield build?

I think it's clever and timely!

Alas, I shall miss them both.  Also the subplot that was brewing... Oh, well.  Other subplots will hopefully arise.

Are we short-resting or long-resting? I'm not sure if we decided and I have lost track of time in the day. If anyone needs a long rest and we can take one, I am fine with that.

Short Rest, I believe.

To be honest we should take a long rest. The dragon will be at 100% ether way.

I have 8 temp hit points listed, which must have been from Telric. Do temp hit points disappear over time?

Only when you rest, or someone beats them outta you, or someone gives you temp hp with a higher number.

Since you’ve had a long rest, I’d say they dissipated. Telric hands out Temp HP like Halloween candy for trick-or-treaters, though, so you’ll get more.

If we are in his lair, we can force him to come after us, and therefore inside a place with a roof. Maybe by looting his horde and calling 'dull', 'unimaginative', and 'Pasay'?

As you replayed the battle in your mind, you realize that the Lair was bare, even for a younger Dragon. The Yuan-Ti that the party encountered were likely there so they could move the hoard to Baleful’s present location.

I'm confused, Msg#229 in the "Swallowewd" thread confirms that the group exited the cave through the underwater tunnel and found a spot in the swamp where the Tiny Hut was cast.

Staying in the cave would not have made sense as the Yuan-Ti were there, ready to turn us into dragon-chow!

Yeah, you exited the cave. Tara provided refuge with “Tiny Hut”. You’re all currently near the Hags former lair, where the Hut just dissipated.
