I'll explain my thought, you tell me if there is any validity.
D&D Beyond:
Dust of Dryness
The dust turns a cube of water 15 feet on a side into one marble-sized pellet, which floats or rests near where the dust was sprinkled. The pellet's weight is negligible.
Someone can use an action to smash the pellet against a hard surface, causing the pellet to shatter and release the water the dust absorbed. Doing so ends that pellet's magic.
When the pellet is smashed, does the water appear instantly as a 15 foot cube where the pellet was?
Would throwing a pellet against a hard surface count as "smashing"? If not, what would you consider "smashing"?
15x15x15 = 3 375 cu ft = 25 246 US gallons =
~200 000 pounds
I'm thinking that dropping 100 tons of water on the bad guys should cause some kind of damage!
