I'll explain my thought, you tell me if there is any validity.



When the pellet is smashed, does the water appear instantly as a 15 foot cube where the pellet was?

Would throwing a pellet against a hard surface count as "smashing"? If not, what would you consider "smashing"?

15x15x15 = 3 375 cu ft = 25 246 US gallons = ~200 000 pounds

I'm thinking that dropping 100 tons of water on the bad guys should cause some kind of damage!

Instant flash flood?

Obviously, Grog is hoping the whole death by liquid weight is what will happen. I'm looking for guidance, assuming Grog would know what would happen.

If not, then say no more! It will be an experiment.

I think that Grog would approach it exactly in terms of a water bomb!  You’re welcome to try that with the appropriate Ranged attack.

Hellish Rebuke is a reaction "which you take in response to being damaged by a creature within 60 feet of you that you can see".

Can Simon use this spell before he drops unconscious?

Can he use it once Skye's healing brought him to consciousness?

Since you’re near-death even with Skye’s help, I’ll let you cast it on a successful CON check, DC 15.

Made it! I'm assuming it goes after Skye returns him to consciousness based on how you worded your reply...which is fine. Just needed to know what I had to work with.

They’ll take half damage. Simon is thready and that spell was an act of supreme will for him.
