This game is meant to explore themes of toxic power dynamics, unclear loyalties, and the consequences of thoughtless actions. Your characters are all in positions of vulnerability to your masters, who are themselves prone to doing things that you have to live with the consequences of. This is shown by, among other things, the ways that the city of Kaer Maga develops around you as they act on it.
