RtJ
This is a V5 Vampire the Masquerade game, centred around the settling of a domain once held by the Sabbat, and the mysteries, threats and opportunities it holds to those that take the risk to make the journey.
Player Requirements
1. This game is Adult. RPOL should have automatically checked your age and adult status on the site. Please confirm in your RTJ that you understand the rpol adult game posting requirements.
2. Keeping the game moving requires regular posting. Please commit to 4 posts per week, minimum. If you can post daily, that's great! If you're going to have an extended absence, please let us know.
3. This game is rated 'adult.' While there will likely not be a whole lot of "adult" action going on the World of Darkness, like our own world, has horrific tragedies and atrocities. So, just to be on the safe side, we're calling it "adult" and moving on from there. Adult language and descriptions of violence are allowed; however, if they are over the top, inappropriate, or disturbing to the other players, we can work together to make sure we don't go beyond the comfort level of those involved. If a player continues to persist in going beyond the bounds of another player after we've talked about it, they will be asked to leave.
Information to include in your RTJ:
1. I would like an age statement, and acknowledgement of RPOL's Adult Material Policy.
2. Please list your experience with World of Darkness.
3. Do you currently have access to Vampire: the Masquerade (5th Edition)?
4. Tell me what you want from a V5 game, and why you will make a good player for this game.
5. Any preliminary thoughts on your character concept or general conceptual area you'd like to explore - who they are or were before the embrace, clan preferences, etc. Frame your concept in human terms.
6. Give me a list of 3 clans you would like to play, in order of preference.
7. Let me know if you are more interested in Camarilla or Anarch.
8. Let me know if you are interested in playing a Thin Blood (14-16th gen)
9. A character name, if you have one. If not, I'll add you as 'Player #' so you can partake in the Session Zero brainstorming until you come up with one.
Once in, we will work together on the other questions that are in the Required Reading.
Keep in mind:
You are a very recent arrival to Toronto, no domain, no sizable haven, no status, Anarch or Camarilla.
No Prince, Baron, or elder has sent your character to Toronto, though they may have banished them from their domain. The Camarilla and Anarchs are engaged in conflict across multiple domains, the Beckoning having taken many away from the ranks of the Camarilla, and the open road is inviting discovery by the Second Inquisition, that may lead back to those people in power. And with the isolation brought on by the threat of the Second Inquisition, prospects of sending childers to occupy other cities is unheard off in this time.
