My first post will have our House Rules as they build up over time. Below I'll post any announcements so they don't get lost in our OOC thread.


House Rules

1. We are using the Vampire: The Masquerade Companion errata, found at the end of the book, for Blood Potency.

2. Blood Surge lasts the entire scene, rather than a turn, however you may only have one blood surge active at any one time. If you need to change it then you must make another another Rouse check.

3. On ties with Obfuscate vs. Auspex "If the acting character rolled equal to or more than the number of successes rolled by the opposing character, the test is a win." I read that to mean that Obfuscate and the person rolling Stealth wins in such challenges. This is to encourage players to act rather than be passive.

4. Power Bonus and Resonance bonuses to disciplines apply to Rituals/Ceremonies and any Discipline roll where the Discipline is added to the dice pool.

I'm lowering feeding difficulties by 1. This means that where chasse 1 meant a difficulty of 6 for feeding, it will start at 6, and chasse will lower it by 1 for each level.

I am doing this as I still want to continue to stress the importance of domain and herd that the V5 setting has established, opening up political avenues to strike at your enemies and stories that may come from such conflicts. Holding powerful domains will garner you favours, while banishing someone to the outskirts or relatively dead areas will greatly weaken an opponent.

At the same time because contacts are an important part of the game, there are several strategies that can be used to raise difficulty of feeding within a domain.  As these avenues of play have been made easier, I didn't want it to of balance the feeding system which is already difficult.
