So, I will show you the code with spaces, and then the pic.
I use Photobucket. I'll give you my process there in case you are frustrated to the point that you "Just want it to work." You could always get on Photobucket, host it temporarily, figure out the code, and then switch hosts. SO, here is that process.
There are options on how to host an image when you hit the "
Share" tab. It is the option to the top, far left of the image.
The second option given in the Share tab is:
Embed (All the available links are Direct Link/Embed/Email/Facebook/Twitter/Pintrest).
The
Embed Screen then opens and you are given 3 options to choose from, each with 4 options underneath them. The three options are: HTML / IMG / iFrame.
Select:
IMG
the four options below are: Thumbnail / Small / Medium / Large. This refers to the size of the image. We will all have to scroll for a while if the "Large" image is selected. I usually choose Small, as it isn't obnoxious, but just for this post, I will go Large because the image itself is small.
Here is the code that Photobucket spits out (there is a "copy link" tab right next to the code that copies it automatically from Photobucket).
[URL=
https://app.photobucket.com/u/...it=bounds[/IMG]
So. That code won't work as is. I have to chop the code and remove the stuff. The code repeats, and I only need the second half (I honestly do not know why. It was so frustrating figuring it out. *And "code repeats" is not quite accurate- there are differences between the two codes*)
So, after I chop the code, it looks like this:
https://hosting.photobucket.co...&fit=bounds[/IMG]
I have to put this code into " quotes "
I then put this (I have to put a space between the >< or you can't see it): < img src= in front of that code (with the quotes!), add a single space, then / >
All together it looks like this:
