Rumors circulating around Pavis in Sea Season 1625:

A snowy dark season followed by a wet storm season is expected to swell the Zola Fel to an unusual degree.

A high ranking Lunar nobleman recently arrived in the city and has been drilling and inspecting various units stationed at the garrison. The commanders seem to be unhappy about this, and a number of more renowned units such as the Marble Phalanx have taken the opportunity to perform some training maneuvers outside of the city.

A caravan from Boldhome has recently arrived in the city. One of its scouts reports seeing an unusual gathering of Praxian tribes that would normally be hostile to each other.

The former governor of Prax, Sor-Eel the short, was disgraced and stripped of his position after some military failure. He has reportedly been spotted in Pavis, keeping a low profile.

The Zola Fel floodplain is wet and fertile, surrounded by a harsh environment to the east and west. While the settlements along the river banks to the south (the Lunar Grantlands) are considered to be managed by Lunar loyalists, those to the north are controlled by Sartarite expatriates and others. They pay their taxes but some think they will need to be dealt with at some point.

Troll activity in the big rubble has been heating up, and the third band of adventurers in a fortnight was recently ambushed and eaten.

The Lunar army in Sartar is planning something big that will extend the power of Lunar magic much deeper into Dragon Pass.

Pavis is a lousy detail, but better than Corflu.
