Any role is acceptable, but be aware that the party already has two defenders and a hybrid leader/controller.

Dragonmark feats are acceptable to choose. If one's races is the traditional race for that mark, the character will be tied to that mark's House and should expect (and be prepared to work with the DM on coming up with) quests and challenges that pertain to that house, and no significant unearned benefits. The character must still be on par with the other characters.

If one's race is not that of the traditional race for that mark, it's not going to be a huge deal, at least at first. It would be reasonable to treat such a situation as hugely significant to the setting, but I don't care to make a character the center of the game simply because of their choice of race and feat.
