Taking a week to process, maybe two weeks, then I'm going to advertise and get some RTJs sorted and we'll go forward with character creation. If player are speedy, and I am not needing to ask that many questions, I'd say we can start fairly soon. I have the stories in the Game Info. They will be the "starter" hooks. You're also welcome, after at least two of these issues are pursued, to sandbox your own directions and cue me with stories you'd like to see, both in and out of character. At the very least you can cue me out of character desires. Things you'd find fun and enjoyable.

Not even at the one week mark and feeling noticeable recovery. I think I'll be approaching a another few days and post an update to enter characters.

I've decided stagnation is worse than being overwhelmed, but realized I can take this week nice and slow and then as the two week mark comes, I can go to a comfortable pace and then take it as it comes. I'm ready to GM a fairly new concept (to me!) and as long as players are honest and then patient and then kind; that's really what it's going to take to make this worthwhile for me. I will let you know, be you in the game, or just visitor, I'll have the status available. If you're in the game, and are worried about hurting my feelings, first find the honest answer and then keep with that and let me know in the most patient and then kind way you can what you really think. Two examples are these:

1. You don't want to see group 0 content.
   
   • Just ask me to remove you from group 0, and we'll move the game proper to group 1 and anyone that wants to see it, from a visitor stance, can ask to lurk.
   
   
2. You don't want to participate in the game any longer.
   
   • Really, just decide it it's now or never. If it's truly just now, then I'll keep you in the game. If you're looking for an excuse. You don't need one. :) Seriously. You don't need a reason. If you want to give one, that's appreciated, but you can just say it's slow, or not what you expected, or doesn't have enough action, or has too much combat; or just you don't like my version of canon. No reason is fine too. :) If, however, you are just busy; new child, new event, death in the family, new job, lost job, et cetera; just let me know you need some time. It can be weeks, months or years. I've kept people in my very longest running game for ten years and I'd see them log in but never post. That's fine!

Looks like things are stable again...going over RTJs and getting the cell together.

I won't advertise yet, as I want to see how players workshop, but we're at four players and I can handle four or five maximum.

We're down to three players now and possibly two depending on the accuracy of my spidey sense.

I'm looking to dedicate Friday nights, and maybe Saturday nights or Thursday nights, to being more active on RPoL. This won't change until July 7th, and won't last when American Thanksgiving comes. When New Years rolls around though, I'll have until June, with the exception of by Birthday and possibly a small holiday. If I were moved in, I would be more raring to go. As it is, I'm going to see about moving in in July. That's the hope, anyway. This apartment is...it's a doozy. Not sure if they'll move us into another unit. Other than that, we should be set to break ground in mid or early July. Also, as you all feel comfortable too. ;)

Go hit with fatigue from my ill practiced holiday. Consulted (informally) with a friend's mother, who is a medical dietitian but has good health education, and they pretty much confirmed I have sleep deficit I need to make up. Too much, too often. Like drinking intoxicants, having sleep deprivation weekly, without any REM or deep sleep, for months, eventually leads to long term effects. While she couldn't confirm treatment, because she couldn't confirm condition; she all but said I have to, have to, have to commit to a month of good sleep habits to feel better. I have to take a delay on reviewing character details, as my cognitive capacity is impaired.

I'll check in next week, and do then what I was going to do now. I should be feeling better if I can do as I'm supposed to. I should also expect to gradually increase screen time, but start small.

On that note, I know not all of you have been able to produce your rough draft, and so that relieves me a bit, and should hopefully make the one of you that hasn't any, and other than only has part, feel less pressured.

MY power was out. I also had a huge blow up in Community chat that put bitter taste in my mouth that festered during the heat and deplorable living conditions. Tonight I came on put aside a CC issue, and to weigh in on D&D, a system I will probably never play again, but am running my very last on RPoL that was ready to start when my power was hit almost a week ago.

I live in Johnson County Kansas, in the states if that needs be said. WE had at least 60 mph winds, and I think where I was full on gale force winds. It was bad. Real bad.

I have my long time, but soon to be former, friend's birthday tomorrow. I then have a day to orient, and review sheets, three days to make my peace with my friend in good times, so that when I part ways I have good memories and not just bad ones. I plan to post the 28th. My sister's birthday is August. She got married in June. No contact since the wedding, so no idea if that will be no time or some time. My father's birthday is in September. Again, I want good memory with a person I have too many bad ones with. My brother's birthday is in October. That will likely be the most I'll spend of all three. Each should be a couple days interruption at most. Most likely none, as I've had little contact and zero support during my homelessness.

When Thankgiving comes, I'll be taking a break. When December comes I'll be fairly dependenmt on weather, thought that would be the first. If that goes well, Until the 23rd I'm mostly free. Same until the 30th (Not looking at the calendar for days of the week) Off on New Years. Available in February, Taking a holiday in March. Now that I say that, I'm taking one week holiday in September, but should be able to post during. I'm taking it easy, but it's a staycation, at home, just light labor and saving put toward luxury. March to May is too far tio predict, but if this apartment's lease is good, it'll be fine. June is dicey. May have to be homeless, either way, I'll start looking for where to live and start June 1st. Once I know ehere I'll be, or July comes, we're at the one year and unfornately that's a huge upheaval to eb moving or worse offline. That said, I think a year with some down time, and already establishing we'll go slow, that that's a good projection.

I wanted to start this week, but I'm just glad I can walk in socks, have AC, and use my beloved PC. A week it quite a long time, but if I commit to what I can control, it should fade in the long run.

It's highly frustrating, but my roommate's schedule is floating. It was consistent, at my behest, but needed to be changed from post-Covid "work from home" time into "work in library" hours. With her coworkers needing some leeway (who also had these work from home hours lost) the work week is jumbled. I highly suspect Fridays will still be free nights, into Saturday mornings. That's the biggest argument my roommate has for having consistent schedule, seldom does anyone else have a consistent schedule, but she works weekends; something no one likes to do. That may change, but I doubt it. Anyway, Mondays may be like Saturdays. That would be good for me if it was.

This is, however, up in the air ATM. It will, however, all but absolutely be consistent when it's set. It just changes now that "summer reading" (the Christmas for retail equivalent for libraries) is over, and staff shortage with Covid criteria changing former considerations.

It's her job, not mine, but it's very essential I have quiet time to be on RPoL, and we have a dinky apartment; so I have work with her to find where that overlaps. Whether I like it or not, I'm slow even with concentrated "ideal" conditions. I'm happy to say it looks promising that we'll move forward.

About 40 minutes until I log off this game board. If you see this an hour or more after posted, yeah...it's moot. I'll be be back though. Probably next week.

Silent Argent Blade is still working, in more than one way, so they will extend my time to read the books "Manual...Alchemicals" and "Compass...Autochthonia". I'm the least familiar with alchemicals (not counting infernals "heinous" chapter[s]). So me reading more will help me make the game more authentic. This will also give Silent Argent Blade time to work. They're almost done with their sheet though.

I had a TS flare up. Wrecked my medication schedule, wrecked my morning. Then my roommate had to adjust their schedule for the 10th. So I will post on the 11th, or sooner. I feel sick right now as a result of the TS. I'm heading off to bed earlier than often I go to bed. Still not for a few hours from now.

Expect a level of uncertainty whether the post will be tonight, tomorrow or the day after. I will open the tread tonight if I finish it, otherwise it'll be the 11th or before.

We have a healthy number of RTJs, that I feel like I can put this game into drive, and still not have tons of RTJs to work through, but enough to build more than a skeleton crew.
